TAHLIA~ I stood there, frozen in a moment of surreal uncertainty, my gaze locked onto the woman who bore an uncanny resemblance to Mother. Her long, silver hair cascaded down her back, and her ice-blue eyes held a certain depth that was hauntingly familiar. Her hands were positioned just like… Mother’s. Her eyes had made me realize she wasn't Mother. White gray flecks were that of Mother. Though she made no move to reach out, my eyes trailed her, unable to tear themselves away. It was as though time had folded in on itself, and I was caught in an inexplicable paradox. Suddenly, a presence interrupted my reverie, and I became aware of the old man standing in front of me.
