The pitter-patter of little feet echoed across the floorboards and I automatically knew my sleep was coming to an end. 3.. 2.. 1... "Ember!" The door flew open with a resounding slam. The way she tried to pronounce my name was not foreign as I peeled open an eye to see my little sister jumping up and down on the mattress. "Jessie," I groaned, once again. "Could you be any louder?" She stopped moving and tried to rip off the covers, only to fail against my steel grip. "Wake up," she whined. "It's already 8!" I threw back the covers and saw her pouting down at me. She gave me the puppy dog face, widening her blue eyes. I grinned and had her in a lock as I grabbed her small figure. "Ah! Ember no!" She giggled
