First date

It has been three weeks since I met Ethan and the gang. Three weeks since I first spoke to Zara and it has been amazing and hard at the same time. Ethan said that I should be able to shift before the waxing crescent moon because I have shifted once before. He said that it just does not make any sense why just because I blacked out the first time I shifted would make it so that I have to wait and go through the whole process again as if it is the first time ever.

I on the other hand trust in what Zara said. Ever since we spoke that first time we have been speaking regularly and have become like best friends. She makes her feelings well known about how she feels about Ethan and his wolf Jace. She has been nagging me to tell Ethan that we are ready for the next step in our relationship but I'm scared. I have never been in a relationship before and I don't know how he will react. Things have been amazing between us and Ethan often indulge in kissing me passionately and making we weep between my thighs but other than that not much else. The only time we were remotely intimate was the very first night that we met. Ethan said that it was only a moment of weakness on his end and that it will not happen again until the time is right. So here I am Horney as hell all the time and not getting lucky in the s*x department at all.

Speaking of asking me something, Ethan never got around to asking me anything three weeks ago like he said he would after they finished their meeting. We literally went up to his bedroom and spent the whole night making out.

At lunchtime I close my laptop and get walk out of my office to go to the cafeteria to meet Ethan for lunch.

Amanda, I am meeting Ethan for lunch downstairs. There are a few emails I am waiting for regarding the up and coming birthday bash for Mr. Stevens's wife. Please notify me immediately if they come through.

I need the suggested venues on my desk as soon as possible. I am meeting with Natasha tonight to go over the music for the party and I will need the list of venues as well.

As I walk into the cafeteria it is buzzing with people and it takes me a minute to find Ethan in the crowd. I walk up to the table he was sitting at and take a seat opposite him.

Do you want something to drink before we get talking? Ethan asks

Yes, please. I would like a cup of coffee.

Ethan gets up and walks to the coffee station and gets us each a cup of coffee before returning and setting one down in front of me and sitting down taking a sip of his own.

So what did you want to ask me?

I was going through all your suggestions for the Stevens birthday bash so far and it got me thinking. I never did get around to asking you my question three weeks ago. I think it is high time that I get my act together and ask you out on a date. Ethan says

I would love to go on a date with you. I say smiling.

I think things got off to a rough start with you trying to find out what type of shifter you are and learning how to communicate with Zara not to mention learning about the hunters that has been spotted multiple times around our borders in the last three weeks. We need some alone time, just the two of us on a proper date. Ethan explains.

Now that you put it that way, it feels like you have been neglecting your girlfriend Mr. Emerald eyes.

Then let me make it up to you. Tomorrow is Saturday so I will pick you up at say eight tomorrow morning and I will take you on the best date anyone has ever been on. Ethan says taking one of my hands in his.

Sounds like I will have to get to bed early tonight then. I will tell Natasha that our meeting can't carry on to midnight like it usually does.

I suggest to postpone your meeting until Monday. That way you can get plenty of beauty sleep. Not that you need beauty sleep but I want my girl to be well rested for what I have planned for tomorrow. Ethan says kissing my hand

I think I might just join in on the meeting and see what you ladies have planned so far. Ethan says getting up from the table.

Walk me to the elevator? I ask

I will do you one better. I will join you for the elevator ride. I'm headed back to my office now anyway. Ethan says pushing the call button

The next morning six am...

I pick up my phone to see a text message from Ethan.

Good morning beautiful.

I suggest you put on some shorts and comfortable shoes that you can run in.

You are definitely going to need it.

I get up out of bed and take a quick shower. I wonder what Ethan has planned for our date that calls for us to go for a run.

I get dressed and just as I put the finishing touched to my make-up there is another text message on my phone.

Hey gorgeous.

I am downstairs. Seriously need to give me the entrance code so that I can at least meet my girl at her front door when taking her out on a date.

I grab my bag and lock the apartment before walking down the stairs to meet up with Ethan out front.

We are going to a private park own by our pack. I organized that we have the whole part to ourselves for the day. Ethan says.

When Ethan parked the car, he got out and came around to open the door for me.

You can go ahead and walk down this path. I will be there in a minute. Just getting a few things out of the car that we will be needing. You can't miss the spot that I had prepared for our date. Ethan says pointing towards the path that leads to the park

I walk down the path for about two minutes when I spot a blanket with a basket set on top. I go towards it and see that there is a white envelope on the basket with my name on. I take it and open it to find a card inside.

I read the card.

Inside the basket. Put on the white t-shirt and prepare for an all-out battle. Defend yourself. The one with the most colour on their shirt wins.

I open the basket to find a white t-shirt and a water gun with a couple extra bottles filled with pink water. I laugh and put on the white shirt before taking arms.

I hope you are ready cause I won't be going easy on you just because you're a girl. Ethan shouts from somewhere.

Game's on. I shout back and hide behind a tree.

I can clearly hear Ethan laughing and I figure out the general area that he is in and start stalking in that direction making sure to stay out of sight as much as possible.

You can't hide the whole time. I will find you eventually. Ethan says still laughing

Got you, I think to myself as Ethan gave away his position when he spoke to me and I sneak up behind him and start firing water at him.

How...how on earth did you get behind me? Ethan shouts laughing and trying to get away from the spray of pink water that is being shot in his direction connecting with him all over. Back, left side and some on the front.

You gave yourself away by trying to scare me into thinking you will find me before I can find you but my hearing is pretty good and I could soon pinpoint the general direction that you were in and here we are. Your shirt covered in pink.

The game is not over until one of our bottles are all empty. Ethan says shooting water in my direction but I managed to dodge it just in time and hide behind a nearby tree.

How did you dodge when I was standing right in front of you? He asks

I'm fast and you my dear are way too slow. I say emptying a second bottle of my pink water on him and ran to hide but just before I was completely behind the tree I could feel water hitting me on my back.

Finally got you! Ethan shouted happily.

Two bottles down, two more to go. I say laughing

I will not lose to you. Ethan said laughing and running after me shooting at me but missing

After about an hour all Ethan's water bottles were empty and we had to take off our shirts to see who's covered in the most coloured water. After another two minutes we got to the conclusion that I won because there was not a single white spot left on the shirt that Ethan had on.

I got you good, didn't I? I say laughing and sitting down on the blanket

I have never lost a single water gun fight before. Ethan said amused. The guys will never let me live this one down. I got beat by a girl, not to mention that she's my girlfriend.

Your secret is safe with me if you don't want them to know. I said kissing his cheek.

I don't mind losing to you. We had fun and that is all that counts in my books. Ethan says sitting down next to me.

That we did. So what is next? I ask

Want to go for a little stroll on the beach? Ethan asks

Ethan stood up and held out his hand for me to take and helped me stand up and lead me down a small path down to the nearby beach.

I want to take you down to a little private spot that I usually go to when I need to think and be alone for a while. Ethan says kissing my hand.

We walk on the beach with the waves rolling over our feet for a few minutes before coming to a very secluded area. Ethan takes me over some rocks and that's when I see a hidden cave and just at the entrance of the cave is a blanket with a whole picnic set up for two.

This is beautiful Ethan. I can't believe you did this all by yourself. Thank you. I say

I wanted it to be special and I also wanted us to have privacy. He explained.

It's perfect. I said sitting down on the blanket.

I had some help putting the basket together. He admits.

I don't mind. You still put a lot of thought into planning everything today and you blew my mind away.

The date does not end with this picnic. We will be taking a swim later and then tonight we will be stargazing. It's so dark here that you can see all the stars very clearly from here.

Sounds perfect.

Ethan hands me a plate and takes out a few containers of food. There are little sandwiches with cheese and tomato on and some have ham and cheese on. There are little mini burgers and cheese grillers. Chocolate covered strawberries and champagne and a couple sodas as well.

As we ate we enjoyed each other’s company in silence and when we were done eating, Ethan put everything back in the basket and we just chilled on the blanket staring at each other lovingly and kissing here and there. We took our cloths off and only left our under ware on and swam in the little pool between the rocks.

After we were done swimming we were back on the blanket kissing some more and at some point I fell asleep in Ethan's arms because when I opened my eyes again it was already dark and there was a little fire going.

You are finally awake. I thought I might have bored you to the point where you decided that sleep would be better than my company. Ethan joked.

Don't be silly. I was just way too comfortable with you and fell asleep. Sorry if I spoiled any of your plans.

Not at all. You woke up just in time for star gazing. I got this fire going so that we can roast some marshmallows later. Ethan says pulling me into a hug and kissing me on top of my head.

How did I get so lucky?

You found a job at the right company and fell madly in love with the CEO? Ethan says jokingly

That's not too far from the truth but you were the first to fall in love because you knew that I was your mate and that we are meant to be together. I thought that I was just going to me drooling over the hot CEO for the rest of my life. I said

Come and sit on the blanket with me. I want you to see the stars and you don't have to just drool over the hot CEO, you can be with him for the rest of your life. Ethan says kissing me gently

Life sure could not get any better than this. I thought to myself. Hot CEO check, perfect guy check, romantic check, sweet and gentle check.

What's on your mind? Ethan asks looking at me from the corner of his eye

Before long we are both panting. I feel hot and bothered and by the feel of things so is he. We roasted some marshmallows and fed each other a few and by the time we were done we had to go for another swim because we were both a sticky mess.

While we were in the water swimming we saw some dolphins playing in the water nearby and to say that things were just perfect would be an understatement of the century.

We got out of the water and Ethan walked into the small cave and when he came out he had some pillows and another blanket.

I though we can spend the night here so I brought some pillows and extra blankets with but only if you are ok with it. I don't want to force you into doing anything that you are not comfortable with. Ethan says hopeful

Nothing will make me happier than spend the night here with you. Since the moment we got stuck in the elevator on the first day I have been nothing but comfortable with you. You have not once made me feel like I can't trust you and you have not once pushed me to the point where I felt like I can't trust you. I want to be with you all the time. While I'm at work I just want to get up and go to your office and just be with you. I don't know you else to explain it but I have this never ending desire to be with you and touch you all the time. It makes me wonder if I'm going mad or something.

I feel exactly the same way. I have to remind myself that you are not just my mate and girlfriend but also my employee and that I can't just sweep you up and hide away with you. We still need to get work done and we still have clients to keep happy. I know that it is still very early but I'm falling for you and hard.

I'm falling for you too. I'm so in love with you that it's hard to breath when I am not around you or at the very least near you. Not being able to see you makes my heart ache in ways that I can't explain.

Ethan started to kiss me hard and after a while he undid my bra and slowly moved his mouth to my neck and suckled where my neck and shoulder meet and earned a moan from me.

That night me made love for the first time and it was magical.
