Chapter Eleven The next morning, life feeling bearable again thanks to the pills, Lincoln braved the shower. He couldn’t stand without the crutches or bracing himself against the shower wall, and he couldn’t exactly wash his hair with his hand against the wall, so the shower turned into an awkward half-bath affair, with the water streaming down around him.
