Chapter Twenty-Five Kali flinched as Lincoln’s door slammed. She stepped to the window then slammed the glass down. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. She turned toward Theo and her room, listened for movement. If that slam had woken him again she couldn't handle it. Not now. She waited. Silence. Kali let out a long breath and wrapped her arms around her middle, staring where Lincoln last stood.
