Chapter Three: Estella POV

I woke up slowly. I didn’t really had a memory what happened. I grabbed my right wrist who the rogue broke. It didn’t hurt as much but it was sore. Then I saw a IV hooked up to my arm. The bag seem empty of liquid. I heard the clock. It was afternoon. My stomach growled. I looked around and saw that this wasn’t my bed or my room. I wasn’t in the tower. I ripped out the IV and walked to the window and open the large curtains. As I looked outside it was a lot of what seem like the sun shining it was blinding me. And for some reason there was tan looking type of snow. Then I heard people talking and coming to the room. I decided to go to the bed and find something sharp. I couldn’t find anything. There were no weapons in this room. Then what looked like Aramis and a another boy came in the room.

“Stay back and I won’t let you sell me to the black market o-or touch me,” I said. I looked down and I saw someone put me what seemed like a small dress or a shirt that wasn’t showing nothing off. I liked the smell and it smelled a lot like a mate would feel.

“Look Goldie you gave everyone a scare at the challenge,” he said with a snarky attitude.

“It’s Stella,” I said with a snarl.

“Nice to meet you too precious,” he said.

“Son of b***h where DID you kidnap me to,” I said.

“We’re in Australia the red thing you think is snow is called sand and the bright circle is the sun,” he tried explaining.

“AND why did you brought me here,”I said trying to keep my distance from him. He sighed.

“Look as you know I am a Lycan,” he started.

“And well I’m cursed,” he said. I gave him a confused look.

“My family’s blood is cursed, anyone who smells it or is near it and isn’t part of the family well they die, it’s a potent poison which leaves no trace of entering your body, so you bit my neck and in the fencing match you’d cut my cheek, so well you almost died and I had to bring you to my pack,” he explained. I knew there was something else. I toughened my aura and my stare.

“There’s more isn’t,” I glared him. I made him sit with my hand and I made him speak and to tell me everything.

“Y-y-your my destined mate, the curse affects the destined mate by making them not detect the other,” he said. I let him go and softened my aura.

“I believe you, this is your shirt am I correct?” I asked. He nodded.

“Your scent smells like how I always dreamed my true love would smell, soft rain, hint of lavender,” I implied.

“Your wolf smells just like that,” I said. It was true when I fought with my wolf and we knew the wolf we fought was our mate.

“But you, smell like a wet dog SO take me back,” I said.

“I decide if you leave Goldie,” he snarked. I glared at him.

“Then I will tell my beta,”I said.

“I already talked to him by phone, he said the castle was attacked yesterday again,” he said with a serious tone.

“All of the royal court agreed for you to stay here,” he explained some more.

“And for another fact you can’t really transform,”the boy said.

“What does he mean I can’t transform?” I asked.

“The anti venom has a bit of side affects, it kind of takes your ability to transform until it neutralizes the venom from my blood,” he said.

“AND you couldn’t tell me before?” I asked.

“How come you don’t know about my curse,your the royal wolf,” he looked mad.

“BECAUSE I never attended the meetings, my Beta takes care of all the meetings, I just review them, if they want a special meeting with me I will appoint them,” I said with tears.

“I’m still new at being Queen,” I felt I got something out of my chest.

“You never got out of the Arctic, did you?” he looked at me with those endearing eyes. I looked away.

“How old are you?” He asked.

“Eighteen, I may look young but my reign had lasted for at least 13 years,” I told him. I sat down on the bed.

“Your parents,”he tried asking.

“Left,” I lied. I heard the ocean and looked outside.

“You want to go to the beach?”he asked. I nodded.

“Hey let’s do this, during your stay let’s go around different parts of the world and maybe no one can know your the royal wolf, but I will take you back once your able to transform,” he said.

“I like that,” I told him. I thought to myself that having a bit of fun wouldn’t do no harm.

“Kenzo get out, I’m going to have fun with my mate,”he looked at Kenzo. Kenzo bowed to me and left. Aramis opened some glass doors. I got outside. It felt warm not cold and I look up. The what so called sand got stuck to my feet.

“Is the sky always this blue?” I asked.

“It is” he replied. He grabbed my hand and took me to the sea. The water seemed like a turquoise color which transcended to a deep blue. It was really clear. He let go of my hand and splashed me. I laughed and I splashed him back. I felt free with no obligations on my back. Is this what it felt to be normal. I got in deeper water. The water felt so nice on my body. I swam to him to shore. My stomach growled louder.

“Your hungry aren’t you?”he asked. I nodded.

“Come on Goldie, let’s get you change into something else,”he said.

“Is your shirt not ok?” I asked.

“Are you wearing underwear,” as he was saying that he gave me dirty look. I snarled.

“I will tell my sister Licia to help find some clothes,” he said.

“Come on let’s show you your room first,” he held out his hand when he said. I took it and we went back to the room.

“Is this my room?” I asked. He laughed so hard.

“It could be if you wanted to,” he was perverted when he said that. My face turned into a deep red color.

“Well Goldie really wants to sleep here with the Alpha doesn’t she,” he said with it a sly smile. He wanted to play hard.

“Your not the first Alpha I slept with,” I gave him the look.

“Are you sure about that, your beta is really protective of you,” he said. He grabbed me from behind and tickled me. I laughed so hard. I didn’t know how he was making me laugh.

“W-what are you doing to make me laugh,” I asked him. He stopped.

“I’m tickling you, you never been tickled?” He asked siting next to me. I shake my head.

“I see well that’s not going to be a problem we can break all the rules you have here,” he said.

“But rules keep everyone in line and safe,” I told him. He looked deep into my eyes.

“I guess but I never follow the rules Goldie,” he said with a big dorky smile.

“That’s how you almost killed me,” I laughed. He didn’t look too happy when I said that.

“Come on let’s show you your room, you wouldn’t like to sleep with me, I snore,” he said.

“But I could sleep here with you, only with your wolf but if it’s too much to transform into it I could sleep with you,”I told him.

“Sure i-,”he tried saying and Kenzo opened the door while falling in and had a wine glass roll to us. Aramis wasn’t too happy and he looked furious. Then a girl popped in.

“Hi,”she said.

I could see his wolf’s eyes pop out. I didn’t want to calm him down. He walked to him and grabbed him by his collar shirt. He was looking down and shaking.

“I will be right back I have to show my beta not to eavesdrop,” he replied.

“Um ok but please don’t hurt him, he seems cute,” I told him posing a bit. I saw his face turn really red and exited and the girl walked in.

“He won’t hurt him right?” I asked.

“Nah” the girl said.

“So first I need to know what size of underwear you wear,” she asked.

“Um I don’t know, I just wear a corset sometimes ,” I said.

“Well in bra standards I’m cup A, you seem like a cup size C,” she said. This was weird. My maids would know what size I was and they would fill my closet with clothes that fit me just right.

“And underwear, well by your hips I could say your medium, wait here,” as she said that she left. She came back with some what seemed weird clothes.

“Have you heard about pants? These are bell bottom pants,” she explained. She show me the pants. I shook my head.

“Well I have a shirt and a belt if it doesn’t fit, I could get you new clothes, do you need help dressing?” She asked. I gave her a nod. She help me dress. I felt naked without a dress. The shirt didn’t seem to have sleeves it had what looked like noodles holding it together.

“Let me do your hair, it’s pretty long and your going to die of heat,”she implied.

“Don’t you have maids,” I asked.

“Yea but we only use them to cook and clean,”she explained. She started combing my hair. I never had a hair cut once.

“I can see it’s naturally curly and really thick,” she said. I nodded. She put what seemed like round thing to hold up. And then another round thinner thing around it hold my hair together although I still had some loose strands.

“There I put in a bun,” she said. It was in a low bun. I really liked the hairstyle.

“Why? Is there a important event?”i asked.

“No I just thought it looked cute,” she smiled.

“I really can’t believe your the Queen Alpha is it awesome to rule over the packs,” she asked.

“I guess” I told her. Then Aramis came in.

“Ready to go out and eat?” he asked when he was about to come in. Then as he got a full close look at me, he stood there frozen. Licia smirked.

“I will leave you two love birds,” she said and left.

“Do I look like a bird,” I asked.

“NO no it’s just a figure of speech,” he said and turned red.

“Come on let’s go,”he said. He keep looking at me which was weird. He took me to a car.

“Here get on,”he opened the door.

“Is it safe?” I looked at it with confusion.

“You never seen a car before,” he asked.

“No we don’t use any form of transport, we walk,” I told him.

“Well precious I promise it’s safe,”he reassured me.

“Estella,”I snarled.

“I think precious suits you better,”he said. I gaved him my annoyed looked. He looked away and helped get on. He got on the other side of the car that seemed that had a pinwheel.

“So do you want to go back to the royal life?” He asked.

“It’s my responsibility,” I told him. I didn’t understand why the court and my beta decided I stay with Aramis. I didn’t need to transform. There was a secret I never told anyone about neither my beta, that’s why the north wing is forbidden. But it was getting out hand with rogues, for some reason they were attacking the castle more.

“So tell me you became Alpha because you killed your brother or someone?” Aramis was asking questions that I didn’t want to answer.

“I’m a only child,”I told him.

“Oh really, so you don’t have to smell ten wolves in your house,” he asked.

“No why would I?”I asked.

“So you answer me this how did you became Alpha and wanted a appointment with me,” I asked. I saw as we were passing the scenery fast as he was controlling the vehicle.

“I well had to challenge my oldest brother,”he answered.

“My mom who was a Luna really didn’t gave us affection she was either with my father or busy with her Luna duties, they were chosen mates, my mom never gave me affection,” he said. I saw his stare got sad as he explained that.

“Did you kill your brother?”I asked.

“No of course not he’s my brother,” he said.

“Now tell me how does a female keep her Alpha Luna status,” I looked away as he said that.

“I trained for thirteen years,” I told him. It was a somewhat of a lie.

“And your mother did she love you before she left?” He asked. Again I hated the personal questions. I keep those answers in the dark.

“I don’t remember, but my beta acted like a father to me,” I explained. I saw we’re passing what looked like shops till he turned and put the car near a shop.

“We’re here,”he said.

“Are there any humans!?” I asked scared.

“Yea? We don’t live secluded,” he answered.

“Just act like normal,” he looked around and put something in my eyes. It seem that it made me see things a bit darker.

“These are sunglasses,” he explained.

“Why do I need them,” I was confused.

“Humans don’t have ice colored eyes, they have blue eyes,” he explained. Then he gave him what seemed like a soft knitted sweater.

“Just in case if you get cold,” he got out and then opened my door and we walked in.

“How many,” a girl asked.

“Just two,” Aramis replied.

“Well follow me,” she showed us to a table and gave us menus.

“You don’t have to order I can order for you,” he told me. A waitress came and took the order.

“You have more questions about me don’t you?” I asked him.

“I mean you are the first Queen Luna Alpha,”he started. I took off the glasses.

“And the longest to reign,” he looked at me.

“That’s why the court never showed me to the public,” I explained.

“But I heard of Alphas wanting to challenge you for a long time and none of them came back,” he looked like he wanted to know if they were dead or something.

“Look I can’t share my royal training,” I told him.

“Not even your destined mate can know,” he looked at with those puppy eyes. I looked away. I didn’t want to frighten him or tell him what I was trained to do.

“I see I’m sorry I’m making you uncomfortab-,” he tried to say.

“Let’s say me being the reincarnation of Selene isn’t a desired power, I wish I was born as a omega instead of a royal,” I explained.

“You really hate having so much power that so many people yearn to have,”he asked.

“I do but if you reigned for as much as I have you learn how to be responsible and accept fate,”I told him.

“You don’t sleep in the master master bedroom,I noticed,” he said.

“Why would I, I’m not married, I’m in the bachelorette’s suite,” he looked at me red when I said. Apart from the fact that every single royal had mated in that room. The waiter came with our food. It looked like two bread stuck to the three pieces of meat and then what look like yellow burnt carrots. Then he set down a brown fizzy drink.

“You don’t know what a burger, a soda or fries are,”he asked.

“To be honest we serve steak without the bread being on top of it,”I told him. I saw he ate it with his hands. It felt disgusting.

“You don’t want to eat?” He asked.

“I don’t use my hands and it’s forbidden,” I told him.

“Look princess you have to live a little,”he grabbed a knife. And he cut the thing in half.

“Try it your going to like it,trust me” he told me My stomached growled so I sighed. I grab one of the halves and gave it a bite. It wasn’t bad and it tasted really good. I began eating.

“Now princess you have to try the fries,”he said.

“What are they?” I asked.

“Just fried potatoes” he said. I grabbed one with hesitation. I took bite and it was really good. He petted me.

“Your cute you know,” he said.

“Cute?” I gave him my confused look and took a sip of the fizzy drink. It was really sweet.

“Oh right your language is more formal, cute is compliment,” he explained.

“Oh, also another thing I heard your conversation with my beta, I think he told about Enver,” I began. Then he started sweating.

“Just saying I spared Enver because I am fond of him and he helped me train,” I explained.

“Yea why would I judge you for that,” he said. I smiled. I finished my meal.

“I am going to the washroom,” I told him.

“You mean bathroom,” he asked.

“You know they mean the same thing,” I snarled. I walked to the bathroom and washed my face and my hands and came to him.

“Are you ready to go home princess or you want to go on a joy ride,” he asked. I preferred if he called me Stella. This male was testing my limits which intrigued me.

“A joy ride,”i couldn’t understand such vulgar language.

“You know like you drive around without a destination,” he explained.

“I think I would enjoy that very much plus you do owe me a date,”I said smirking.

“Very well let’s go, have you seen a boat,” he asked. I shook my head.

“Oh your going to enjoy this,” he said. We went to his car and helped me get on. He drove fast and the road was bumpy. I held on for dear life.

“So who was the one who cursed you,”I asked. He looked at me.

“You really want to know,” he asked. I nodded.

“So you know your the goddess Selene,” he asked.

“Yes I know,” I said.

“Artemis gave us what was a gift at that time,but now I consider it as a curse,”I said.

“Just because I can’t sniff you as my destined mate,” I asked.

“Well basically when I’m near you, I can’t control myself, I can’t mark you as mine, if I can’t get your heart and we do the mating ritual you can die,” he said looking forward and not looking at me.

“What do you mean get my heart,”I asked.

“Get you to fall in love with me,”he said. I looked away red. He was my mate. He was a perfect male.

“But are you ok to being a Luna?” I asked.

“Of course I am plus I wanted to go see you if you could break the curse, and I guess you are doing it,”he said. We got to what seem a wooden platform with lots of weird things floating in the water. He helped get out. He walked on the wooden platform. I was scared it was going to fall and break.

“It won’t break,” he looked at me with those endearing eyes. I took his hand and he took me one of those floating devices.

“Is that a boat,”I asked.

“Yes,” he showed around the boat. I couldn’t believe he had a selfish desire around me. I held him from behind. I wanted attention. He froze as my embrace got tighter.

“Estella ,please I don’t want you to get hurt I’m not ready to unleash the beast I know it’s mating season,”he said.

“I know but I want to hold you like a friend,” I said nuzzling his back.

“You know I always watched humans from afar, I was wondering if we could try to get know each other on other level,” he began and nodded and held him close. He grabbed me from my arm and made be embraced. I never been hugged before. I felt frozen in time. I couldn’t hug him back. I teared up.

“You want to ride the waves?” he looked at me. For some reason I felt submissive to him.

“Yes of course,”I said. He cleaned my tears and I chuckled. He took and helped me sit near the bow. He started the boat.

“You better hold on,” he said. The boat slowly got away from the other boats and we headed out to sea. I never seen so much water around me. I felt the water sprinkle over my face. I jumped out of the bow and went to the left of the boat and reach out for the water. I saw the sun going down. I was in awe.

“You never saw a sun down,” he smirked. I looked at the sun in awe as I shook my head. My bun got destroyed and the wind went through my long hair. I saw the boat had a glass floor and I saw life.

“What’s this,”I asked intrigued.

“Fish,” he said laughing.

“We’re close to the Great Barrier Reef,” he said.

“We should get going because it’s getting dark,” he said. I nodded and went back to the bow.

“So you do get to see the stars?” I asked.

“Yes,” he kept looking at me.

“I want to show you something amazing that happens when it gets dark,” he yelled as the waves were getting rougher.

“Is it the Aurora Borealis” I screamed back.

“No much better” he smiled. We got back to the dock and we went to back to the car. He drove back to the house. As drove the night came and there were many stars. He parked the car and opened the car.

“Come quick,”he said. I got out of the car and followed him. We went the beach and the water was glowing. I was mesmerized. I touched the water and picked it up. The water went through my hands. I look up.

“Where I live the night sky looks much more wilder,”I said.

“Is the bright circle going to come back?”i asked.

“You mean the sun,” he was testing me.

“Yes the sun,”I replied.

“Yes it comes back everyday unlike your weird Arctic,”he said.

“Come on let’s go in, you want take a bath?” he took my hand.

“Um yes I think it’s the only way to get clean,” I told him.

“There is a shower,”he snarled at something. I looked around.

“There is no one,”I said. He keep looking. Of course it wasn’t my land I wouldn’t know.

“Just go inside,”he said. I walked inside his room and went to the bathroom. It looked weird. It wasn’t just a bath and a toilet. There was weird looking glass capsule in the room. I went to the bathtub. There were knobs but I didn’t know how to prepare my bath. My maids would do it. I decided to turn one knob and I put my hand through the water it was cold. So I decided to experiment it with it until it was the right temperature I liked. Once I was done experimenting and done filling the bath till the brim I walked to the cabinets and checked what type of oils they had to put in the bath. Apparently there were a few. The soaps and shampoo were different. The shampoo were in a plastic bottle not in a glass bottle. Then there was a bottle that intrigued me. I grabbed the rose oil, the shampoo and soap and the weird bottle. I put in the weird bottle and created a bunch of foamy looking stuff. I put in the oils drained a bit of water. I started washing my hair. Then Aramis came, I knew I had to cover myself.

“We have to move,”he said.

“Why?” I asked.

“It’s not safe that the royal Alpha, Kenzo killed over five rogues, I think we are going to war with them,” he said. He helped me rinse my hair.

“Can you leave, I don’t want to provoke you,”I looked at him worried. I need to go back home and commend my army. He got up and walked to the counter. He left a night dress. I smiled.

“I know how much you love dresses,”he said with a smile. I finished my bath and got out. I walked to the counter and grabbed it. I put it on and it felt nice to have clothes. The dress hugged my body. I finally felt like I had something from home. I walked out the bathroom and he was sitting in the bed worried.

“When are we leaving?” I sat down next to him.

“Tonight, it seems the rogues want to get rid of the last alpha wolf, so for a while please don’t use your aura,”he ordered. I look at him.

“As you wish,”I said. He grabbed me and held me.

“Can you transform,” I asked.

“Why,” he buried his face in the brook of my neck. I felt warm. His grasp got tighter.

“Nothing will happen tonight will it,” I asked breathy.

“No the curse still has its affects, that’s how I killed another wolf, the wolf bit me and fell to the poison,”he said.

“Are you sure you want to share a bedroom,” he asked. He held me closer when he asked. I let out a yelp.

“It’s fine but I think for us to stay friends you have to transform,”looked down as he said that. He let go of me immediately.

“Yea I think your right,” he said. He stood up and he transformed. I really liked him and I wanted to let him take the rails of how he wanted to do things. The big wolf who was taller than me even if he sat walked to me. I held my hands out and held him close. I felt energized while I held him. I nuzzled his neck.

“I never had a friend before,”I said while holding him. The wolf nuzzle my neck in response back to what I did. I petted him. I decided to lay down and he lay on top of me. I fell to a deep somber thinking what was the castle doing without me.
