I walked out of the bathroom, my fingers gathering my hair up into a messy bun as I made my way back into the room. The air was cooler now, or maybe it was just me finally letting my exhaustion settle in. Either way, I was done for the night. Lucas was still in the same spot by the window, only this time, he had set his glass down on the second table beside him. He didn’t turn when I walked past him, he just threw something out of the window and turned around walking to the door.
