"I was this close to actually dying, and all you tell me is you have no idea who it is?!" Lucas's voice roared through the room as he downed the last of his scotch whiskey in one sharp gulp. The glass followed a second later, crashing into the wall with a force that made me flinch. My body tensed, expecting something catastrophic, a fire, another explosion, but the only thing that happened was the glass falling to the floor in shards.
