Ben slowly closed the door, then looked at Nina, still sleeping deeply. He quietly picked up her scattered clothes from the floor. The girl had been changed into spare pajamas from his closet, helped earlier by Prita.
The chest trauma from eight years ago had left her physically fragile, causing frequent breathing difficulties.
As Ben was changing, Nina began to wake. She immediately sat up, leaning against the headboard. The sudden movement made her dizzy.
Ben approached and handed her a glass of water. Nina hesitantly took it and sipped.
She realized she was in Ben's room at her former in-laws' house. Her clothes had been changed.
"Ben, where are my clothes? Who changed me?" Nina asked softly.
