Ben gazed at Nina, who was eating ice cream while watching television. The girl appeared carefree, even though just a few hours earlier she had been terrified and crying. That morning, while waiting in line at the consulate, they had unexpectedly run into Delia's close friend, Caitlyn.
Seeing Ben with his arm around Nina, Caitlyn immediately rushed over and began to berate them both. At first, Ben tried to endure it, hoping to stay in line, but Caitlyn's hysterical actions attracted security personnel, who ended up ejecting all three of them.
