THE brightness coming from the open curtains of the window was the first thing that she noticed when Malakai opened her eyes.
With one eye open, she inspected her surroundings.
The wall on the foot of the bed has the dark drapes down while the windows on her right has the curtains on the side that made the sunlight enter the room.
She moved her head on the other side. She frowned when she did not see the person she wanted to see.
She shifted from lying on her front to leaning her back on the head of the king size bed.
She gathered the blanket on her front. Her eyes went back to the glass window.
The bright skies can be seen. It seems that the weather is promising no rain the whole day.
With a deep sigh, she moved from the bed. She paid no regards that she has no clothes on.
