I did the walk of shame from my professor’s house to my house. I had nothing with me, not my phone, or my cash I was stranded. I would have gone to Mimi’s house which was a lot closer but I knew that would just cause her to ask what happened. My legs turned red and bruised from walking on the hot concrete road. I was sure I would pass out from the heat of the sun when I heard someone

“get in the car,” he said slightly angry, I entered the car and stared at him as he gripped the steering wheel hard
