“thank you” I heard Gigi whisper to Daniel while hugging him. he pulled away from him staring into my eyes, we haven’t said complete sentences to each other that did not include passing me the salt or that he was leaving soon. I had expected him to stay longer at least for the Christmas season but he need to spend time with his other family.
