Within minutes I was in a thrift store .The good thing about the store was that most people did not shop here as the majority were well off so chances of finding good stuff were really high. i found the perfect pair and paid before heading to work.

" Hey Maddie glad you are here. Actually, Alexi called in sick and i was wondering of you could take up her role tonight," Mike said the moment i stepped in the establishment.

Alexi was the stripper together with other girls .

"I know it s a hard role but tonight we have many important clients ,we have to entertain them i will pay you extra",he added before leaving .

Connie, one of my colleagues, stared at me wit pity . we were the black sheep here . Most of the girls were willing to do anything, but for us we were always scared but that wasn't the case with me anymore . situations forced people into doing lot of things and mine just happened to be this .

" you know you can trip here and take the night off if you are not comfortable with stripping ", Connie offered .

"I need the money badly. I have to do this " I replied before heading to the lockers .

most of the strippers were already there . I admonished myself for never taking time to know them because i needed their help on getting to that stage .

i wasn't the type to cower but needed a booster to be in front of drunkards in a lingerie .

" You are Alexis's replacement uh?" one of the girls asked as se circled me .

" Just so you know do what you are supposed to do on that stage and don't try to be on the spotlight as we are dealing with dangerous men here " ,she added before retreating .

"What do you mean by dangerous men ?' i asked no one in particular. It was one thing to be poor and in debt and another one to deal with cartels or loan sharks .

" ooh sweetie this is Vegas. We will have drug barones and some dangerous cartel and mafia men and y ou know what the day is tonight they will be here to finalize deals so i think its better you don't try to stand out because they will devour you. Maybe you should go back to preparing their drinks," another tall brunette added .

all the girls here were pretty with nice bodies with some ground-breaking confidence. That's what i actually lacked and for a minute i was having second thoughts .

"Here try this ,we will be going to stage in 15 minutes and you clearly need it ", the first girl came back with a white powder .

i stared at her in shock but that lasted few seconds as the brunet grabbed it and sniffed before laughing hysterically .

" you will be dealing with weird men ,you cant do that while sober. Unless you want to have nightmares you can but this right here is the solution and confidence booster for the rest of the night "

they were right ,i needed it . i did not need much convincing just a picture of my sisters condition and i was sold immediately .

i inhaled the powder and just like they had said i felt much alive ,maybe drugs weren't that bad at all .

" Change before big Mike comes back here. He hates tardiness " Miss brunet who i later leant was Ashley warned as s he moved to do her make up .

i stripped quickly before adjusting my lingerie and wearing my red bottoms i was more than ready for whatever the night was about offer .

" you look freaking amazing. Now come on let ,me touch your make-up. Hope you know how to pole dance ?"

" I can " i replied as memories of me and Hailey pole dancing in our living room before dad drowned in debt hit me . this was not going to be hard for me in any way .

" Good you will be going after Ryan. Alexis always went first, but tonight Ryan can do it , just don't stumble or mess up because those stupid men get irritated rather fast and can throw stuff to you ", she concluded .

Freaking perfect now i had another fear .

i was more than ready though i tried strutting in the room with Ashley cheering on me . Maybe it was this easy i encouraged myself just on time for Mike to barge in the room .

most of the girls froze ,they feared him for unknown reasons and honestly i was not in the position to care about that .

" if i hear any complaints tonight about any of you better know i will be firing you with no pay and don't forget that you still owe me "he irritatingly said as he surveyed the room till his eyes landed on me .

" Maddie ,its your first night but still i don't care don't you even dare to mess , now i need the first batch to be on that stage. Try to earn as much money as possible because otherwise you will be going back home empty-handed !"

The first group left with and i was just glad Ashley and Ryan stayed back .

" if i ever get rich you better trust me i will kill this man," Ryan spat, clearly mad .

i did not need to be told twice t know she hated the man to the core .

" always stealing from us, he is the reason Alexis couldn't come today ,hell she was evicted ' Ashley lamented .

"mind you Alexis earned over 10k for him just for him to give her 500 , when she complained he called his men on her and stole her belongings , this crude ass needs to be dead "she continued .

i had not really known he was mistreating his workers like this ,i thought strippers got all the money they earned but it seemed i was wrong the whole time.

"Don't you guys keep your money ?"

" We used to but one of those drug lords wanted to sleep with Lexi ,and she refused. He ended up breaking stuff which was worth a few grand ,and we have been paying for it since then ",Ryan sighed .

" it has been a month that fucker is just greedy because we make more than 30 k here on a good night, so pray tell me how he hasn't recovered 70 k plus s**t was insured. I will form a gang just to get rid of him" she continued, clearly done with the whole situation .

everyone here had two jobs just to survive so having you money taken was really hard on us.

"its your turn girls", one of the girls announced .
