EPISODE 2

SOPHIE:

Golden,I don't know why but I never liked Golden,it reminds me of cage,a bird trapped in cage,just like I'm trapped inside the golden walls,a bird, a pigeon a sparrow a princess,trapped in a cage

There's is always one place from where we want to escape,a place we hate

It's my mind

My father smiled up at me but something...is off

My gut says that and I know for a fact that my gut is never wrong

"finally you're here,come down"

I realized that I was standing at the same spot for almost 3 minutes before I walk down and stand in front of him

"what is it, father?"

I said even when my hands fisted the sides of my pink gown

I'm...not feeling well

Just like I said..the aura is not elegant

"sit first"

He gesture towards the sofa for me to sit and I silently did

I hardly stare at him,desperate to know what is he going to say

"so...daughter you know how poorly our kingdom is going"

I nod and kept silent for him to continue,when I keep my stare on him he sigh and pat his knees

"...we love our kingdom don't we? Yeah princess?"

"yes"

My father throw the white strand of his hair out of eye view only to look down

He wants to say something but...something is stopping him from doing it

"just say it"

I whisper,don't know if he even heard my voice or not, he clear his throat

"you're getting married"

I frown,the floor from under my feet snatched away I wonder I haven't fallen in the dark yet,this..isn't happening

"no I'm not-"

"yes you're-"

I slam my palm on the table harshly cause whatever my father is thinking isn't in my hands or mind,I'm just not ready for anything else

"i said I'm not"

He sigh and nod

"alright, then watch the kingdom fall apart"

"please Sophie,save this kingdom not for me not for the people but for your mother"

I gasp

So this is it? Now I'm getting married to a unknown person only to save the kingdom?I know and father knows that I love 'my' kingdom,the kingdom which is suffering from attacks and food facilities and lack of water...cost my future

But...mother?

I look down at my feet feeling helpless

"with whom do you want me to marry?"

I feel his breath hitch

He's trying to hide something,but no hiding is allowed

"beast...ki-kieran-"

My eyes widen at the name as I look up towards my terrified father

This is not gonna happen for f*****g sure

"please sophie"

"no no no fath-"

"sophie-"

"HOW!?"

I shout my lungs out as if this would wake me up from the living nightmare I'm being casted in

He's not my dream groom

Fuck he's nothing more than a demon

He's a nightmare a f*****g nightmare

"how could he help?"

My father let out a heavy sigh and run his fingers through his white black hairs

"...he said he'll help if I just let you marry him,he said he'll take care of you,he'll help us sophie our kingdom will have everything"

I back away from him,no way on this planet,I don't believe anything,he isn't going to take care of me,hell why would he say like that?

"why would he say that?"

"he likes you sophie-"

"liar"

Both,if he said something like that then he's lying for sure and my father must have heard wrong

After all he's a killer

My father stands and came closer in attempt to grab me but I back away

He must be lying

But he's my father

"i promise daughter he'll take care of you just please"

This moment was left

My father falling on his knees and pleading,my hand reach my mouth as I gasp and fall on my knees too

"father please"

"please Sophie marry him I want this kingdom to be the happiest"

I gulp and shake my head at the floor before I grab his hand

It's okay

He's my father
