Kelly's POV I woke up gasping, my hand clutching at my chest like the air had been taken from the room while I slept. And for a few seconds, I didn’t know where I was. The dark pressed in, unfamiliar, and heavy. Then the outline of my ceiling came into focus, the faint streetlight slipping through the curtains, and the low hum of the city outside my window.
