Rena sat alone on the beach, the morning sun veiled by fog. Her bandaged hands shook as she sipped coffee, the taste flat and wrong.
The newspaper beside her read:
> "Mansion Blaze Ruled Accidental. No Survivors Found."
But Rena knew better.
The mirror in her apartment still whispered her name at midnight.

📼 Scene 2: Peter’s Last Tape
Peter had vanished.
But before he did, he left a final tape labeled “The Chosen One” on Rena’s doorstep.
She played it.
> “You’re not her victim, Rena. You’re her echo. Her favorite. She found you in that house when you were six. You saw everything and survived. She marked you then.”
> “She doesn’t kill favorites. She keeps them. And if you don’t finish the ritual, she’ll start again—with someone new.”
The tape ended with one sound: a child whispering, “Bride... Bride... Bride...”

Rena returned to the ruins of the mansion.

From within the glass, Eliza stepped forward in her wedding gown, eyes hollow and full of something older than hate.

Rena walked forward.
One step into the glass.
She was no longer in the ruins—but in the chapel, whole again.
Candles flickered. The veil floated down onto her shoulders.
The pews were filled with silent, faceless brides.
Jason stood at the altar—alive, but weeping.
> “You don’t have to do this,” he said softly.
> “I know,” Rena replied.
“But if I don't… she’ll find another little girl. Another child to haunt.”
She took his hand.
The piano began.
But instead of saying “I do,” Rena reached under her dress and pulled out a shard of mirror.
She turned to Eliza.
> “You chose the wrong favorite.”
And with one s***h across her palm, Rena smeared her blood onto Eliza’s chest.
> “You’re bound to me now. And I choose silence for you.”
The veil caught fire.
The entire chapel collapsed into screams, wind, and smoke.
