We were already in the main hall and almost immediately a young woman approached us in a costume reminiscent of the Palm Springs neighborhood guard uniform.
“Karla Mendez, head of security. What is it?”
Silvana handed her a piece of computer foil, stamped with the company’s board seals and signatures.
“We have permission to do a two-hour search of apartments rented to Hermann Arango. We were assured that we would receive all possible help.”
“Of course,” the woman looked at the document and copied it with a handheld scanner. “I have a Horus company camera for you ladies. Please be careful not to damage the seals, they are a certificate guaranteeing the authenticity of the recording.”
“I know my job. I also promise that we will not cause any damage during the search.”
