The sun rose, creeping into the room through the partially open curtains. A new day had come. With it, a new Fallon Perry. Opening my eyes, I stretched and sought Anthony's warmth. He wasn't there. I snapped upright, my eyes scanning every inch of the room. I didn't see him, but his voice was loud and clear nearby. As a half-breed, my skin, like the other senses, was hypersensitive.
