I wanted to tell her that my life was about to end, but for some reason, I avoided the topic.
I thought to myself, no wonder the Lane family raised a pure and kind-hearted girl like Grace. Perhaps fate knew that Jessica and Landon Lane couldn't raise any decent children.
Grace was so open-hearted, how could I fall short of her?
Though we had grown up in different environments, I had seen a much broader world.
The time I had left shouldn't be wasted in the Lane family, waiting for people who didn't love me to reciprocate my feelings.
I should spend my remaining days enjoying spiritual freedom.
So, when I returned to the Lane family, no one greeted me, and no one questioned why I had fainted.
Only when they saw Grace had come back with me did they finally seem to relax.
