When I was kicked out, it was pouring rain. I walked in the rain, feeling cold all over.
The burning sensation in my stomach made me shiver uncontrollably. By the time I arrived at the hospital, I had almost emptied half a bottle of painkillers.
Simon was shocked when he saw me like this. He had already been exhausted from staying up all night with Olivia, but he immediately took me to a nearby hotel to shower and change clothes.
I cried in his arms like a child.
"Simon, I'm useless. I couldn't get the money."
