Chapter 5When Renée entered the cafeteria, or the cafe, as Jenny called it, she didn’t see Jenny at once. She moved toward the torch mural, which was a variation on SearchLight’s lighthouse emblem. Her gazed skated over the seated people before snapping back to Jenny, who’d done quite a bit with the little bit of time she’d been given. Her hair was down; that was the first thing Renée noticed. It was shorter than when they’d been together, just brushing her shoulders in wavy locks.
