Anna Hatthaway had just walked into her office when she found Sophie waiting for her at the door.
"Anna Hatthaway." Sophie called her close.
"What's the matter, Chief Sophie?" Anna Hatthaway has just arrived and still don't know what happened.
"Arianna called her to her office."
"What's wrong? I'm busy going to director Ben's room right now." Anna Hatthaway had no idea who Arianna was. And now she was busy going to Ben Chilwell.
"I advise you to go to Arianna first." Sophie turned and walked back to her seat. "She's an office monster, don't drive her crazy."
"There's still a case like that these days. Whoever has a higher position is more powerful." Anna Hatthaway also went to her desk, putting down her bag.
"Anything is possible in this company, take my advice." Sophie's expression looked very believable, exuding the aura of someone with long years of experience.
"I'm scared too, but where's Arianna's room?"
"Near the photo studio, there are signposts there."
"Is there a signpost? Why didn't I see you last time?" Anna Hatthaway is trying to dig up her stray memory.
"That time you went to director Ben's room, right, there's no signpost there." This is the male voice, says Jack Grelish, the company's concept creator.
"Why isn't that there?" It's difficult to understand, there are signposts everywhere, but the general manager's room is not there? Hilarious.
"Because few people come to Director Ben, he also doesn't want anyone to bother. Director Ben says it's not necessary, it definitely doesn't need it."
Oh, so that's it.
"You go see Arianna immediately. Wait a long time. She's mad again," Sophie urged.
"Forget it, I'll go now."
Anna Hatthaway got up and went to Arianna's room, whose name she had heard for the first time today. Reaching the front door, Anna Hatthaway paused, adjusted her appearance, took a deep breath, and began knocking.
"Come in." She had just knocked three times when there was an answer inside.
She opened the door and entered. In front of her was a beautiful woman who was sharp, but her face always exuded an unapproachable look.
"Hi Arianna, I'm Anna Hatthaway from the creative studio. What's the matter with Arianna calling me today?" Anna Hatthaway smiled slightly and then spoke.
"Is that Miss Su?" Arianna looked at her and smiled lightly, but Anna Hatthaway saw in this smile a fake, a bit cold. Unconsciously, she shivered slightly.
"Yes."
"It's been rumored that you're specially eaten by Director Ben, aren't you?"
"Ah. Also consider it an honor." With a smile on her face, but her heart is in rebellion, calling her here just to say such nonsense?
"I want you to participate in a small category. You are going to meet the client this afternoon."
"Arianna seems to have something unknown. If I stay here today, I will be able to fulfill your request." Anna Hatthaway smiled lightly, she was not officially a member of CL but got the wrong job right away. What if she gets fired tomorrow?
"From what I've observed, you're definitely going to have to do this category, so take it first."
Did Arianna mean that, according to her observations, Anna Hatthaway was certain to pass? That, of course, Anna Hatthaway knew, but she didn't want to work until she signed an employment contract.
"If Arianna says so, then I have to accept it."
"This is a document from the last three years of the partner company. She studied it first and went to meet the customer that afternoon. Today I will check all these documents for myself." Arianna gave Anna Hatthaway a volume of, no, five documents. It's so thick it's a shoe, and Anna Hatthaway's unbelievable expression was almost revealed. This is called labor exploitation.
"I'll finish it. If there's nothing else, I'll go back to work." Anna Hatthaway had to find a way to escape. Standing there a little longer would probably give her a mountain of work.
"You should remember, if you've worked here, you should do some research. Don't offend your superiors." Arianna hinted.
"Yes." Anna Hatthaway exits Arianna's room.
She thought to herself, "Find out what? What have I done to upset you that you have to remind me? Am I crazy or something, or have delusions of power? Does it even bother you if I breathe?"
Anna Hatthaway was also a bit puzzled, going back to the office to stop by and ask Sophie to find out about this Arianna. But I remember you haven't given Ben Chilwell the report yet.
She took the file and went straight to Ben Chilwell's room.
"This is my final report, please take a look." Anna Hatthaway placed the file on Ben Chilwell's desk.
"Leave it there."
"Then I would like to go out and continue working."
"What else do you have to do?" This time Ben Chilwell frowned, wondering what an unofficial employee would do?
"I don't know why I have to work too? I'm not a full member of CL yet, but my superiors have been assigned the project. I wonder how the company works so carelessly?" Anna Hatthaway also finds it very absurd, by the way. By reflecting to Ben Chilwell, maybe she doesn't need to do it anymore. This little project doesn't do any good.
"Who gave you the job?" Ben Chilwell's eyebrows were still not intended to dilate.
"Ariana." Apparently she didn't use honorifics at him, but Ben Chilwell didn't seem to mind that either.
"She's going out."
Anna Hatthaway was surprised for a moment, with that serious look on her face, but was that all he said?
"If I do this, will I be accepted into CL?"
"I'll talk to Arianna later, but it depends on the results you just gave me." Ben Chilwell's face was still somewhat annoyed.
"May I go out?"
When she went out, Mason, who had been standing there all along, followed.
"Hey Mason, I thought he'd tell me I didn't need to do that part anymore." Anna Hatthaway seemed displeased.
"Director Ben can't do that, because Arianna is also a director. But he's upset because Arianna arbitrarily runs his staff." Mason lowered his voice, apparently afraid that Ben Chilwell would come out.
He didn't worry too much. Just as he finished speaking, Ben Chilwell walked out.
"Why are you still standing here?" Seeing Anna Hatthaway still standing at the door, Ben Chilwell asked.
"Ah, I talked to Mason for a bit. You have to go first." She calmly replied.
Ben Chilwell walked past her, straight ahead, very eloquent. Looking at the back, it seems that it still radiates cold air.
Waited for Ben Chilwell to go a long way before Mason breathed a sigh of relief.
"He's probably going to see Arianna."
"Why don't you see my report first?"
"Stop it, lady! What he needs now is to correct Arianna, dare to be abusive. But you go do your own thing, too many things." Before she finished her sentence, Mason sent her away.
"You act like you don't talk much. You've been very enthusiastic ever since." Anna Hatthaway looked at Mason with disgust.
"Don't look at me with those eyes, because you are talkative, and I am a friendly person. I should answer all your questions."
"Don't make facial expressions, it's so nauseating." Then she returned to the office, not forgetting to despise Mason.
Returning to the office to find Sophie working so hard, she could not impolitely run to ask about interrupting her work. So Anna Hatthaway did her job.
"Oh what the hell? This pile of papers, when will it be done?" As soon as she read one volume, she was already tired.
"My major is design, man, why does this have to do with this data? Shouldn't it be someone from the finance department?"
"I don't know in CL which department is assigned a simple contract like this. They do all the work themselves. The specialized departments support each other when there are more important projects." This Jack Grelish is doing his own thing, listening to people talking with his ears and ears.
"Thanks for reminding me." Anna Hatthaway smiled in thanks.
"Nothing. You'd better hurry. Don't be late for Arianna's time."
"And what's with that, Arianna? Everyone was scared, and then they told me to find out. Don't upset my superiors."
"It's just that she notices you. I bet your job will be in trouble from here."
"Why? I didn't do anything."
"I don't know either. But there's this very useful piece of advice. It's not to get close to Director Ben."
"Star?"
"Since Arianna likes Director Ben, this is top secret."
"Oh mom, thanks for reminding me. That's unbelievable." Fortunately, Anna Hatthaway still remembers to put her hand over her mouth, or else she will lose the whole image.
Arianna likes Ben Chilwell, earth-shattering news.
"What do I do with Ben Chilwell? She must be wary of me again." Anna Hatthaway thought to herself. "You can also see yourself getting better and jealous. Think positive."
Anna Hatthaway got to work.
At three o'clock in the afternoon she had to meet with a client, apparently a woman. So Anna Hatthaway had to take care of her appearance more, dress as politely as possible.
She went to the cafe opposite Shanghai High School, where she had been for three years. Looking at the school gate, many good memories came flooding back.
"Why is the cake seller no longer selling in front of the school gate?" When she was still studying at school, almost every day her friends would stop by the cake cart in front of the school gate to eat cake. Even the youth in high school are in that bakery every afternoon.
She kept thinking about old memories, because the customer seemed to be late for her appointment, so she had more time to reminisce.
But thirty minutes had passed and the customer still hadn't arrived, so Anna Hatthaway was impatient, so she called to inquire. He said there was a traffic jam. She waited again.
