Escape or Die

The Escape

Without thinking Valark lunged full force at Kyle knocking him down to the floor and stomped his skull in and instead of blood pouring from his skull, it was tiny little spiders causing Valark to jump back and puke on spot. Nick came over to check on him and to fully make sure that Kyle was dead again. Once Valark calmed down enough, he looked up at Nick with the biggest what the f**k look on his face which Nick returned and they cautiously proceeded to see if there was going to be anymore surprises. As they rounded the corner they encountered more zombies but these ones have mutated into different stronger breeds. Nick fought off the stronger zombies because he knew that Valark didn’t have the strength to really fight after finding Nima dead.

Valark helped out as much as he could but it wasn’t easy for him. Even switching to his stronger side made him weaker. He put his all into the fighting but when there was only a few mutated zombies left, Valark collapsed onto the ground while Nick finished off the last few zombies and helped Valark up and brought him to the food hall where he noticed his zombie bite was getting worse by the minute so Nick rushed over to the medical cabinet and got stuff to treat the bite. Once Nick got back to the food hall, he found Valark sitting weakly on the wall drinking some water and eating a slice of pizza. He looked up and smiled when he saw Nick return and slowly stood up but almost collapsed again. Nick came running over to his side and Valark saw something in Nick's eyes that peaked his curiosity.

While Valarks wound was being treated his eyes never left Nicks and when Nick questioned it, Valark pushed it off as if he wasn’t doing anything. Valark let out a slight hiss as Nick was burning out the infection in his arm and Nick instantly apologized for it but he had to burn out the infection before it killed him. In the back of his mind  Nick was why he was developing feelings for Valark. He just shook his head  and he just went back to tending to his wound trying to ignore the feelings he had building up.  

Nick had finished up with his wound and went to go get him and Valark more food and drinks when the hall door flew open and Nima slowly walked through asking what happened?  They sat Nima down and Valark got her food while Nick filled her in on what she had missed. Valark came back over to them and they all sat down coming up with a plan to escape. They also decided that when they escaped that they’d burn down the building and went their separate ways. When they were all done discussing everything they got up and went to try to execute their plan which took an unexpected turn.  Nima ended up turning on them just like Kyle did.
