Chapter SixteenThe Asian soldiers rolled in their open military trucks from the border point into Tibet. They all stood around Aadab and Jason. A sergeant dressed in a camo uniform stepped forward and spoke in good English.
“What are you doing here?” the sergeant asked. “So close to our border? As you know, we claim Tibet as well. No one is allowed to go beyond the Tibetan plains.”
“There has been a great war,” Jason said. “The mother ship is destroyed. The alien queen has fled into China.”
“We know about the battle,” the sergeant said. “We listened to the European CyberPADs. Many airships have crashed into our country, and some have been shot down.”
“China is a great country,” Aadab said, “the greatest country in the world, next to mine. Why didn't you join us in our war?”
