Chapter 1: Last Birthday with them

Alexa's POV
"Useless s**t!" I heard a loud bang coming from the living room. I was shocked to see my sister, Ange lying down on the carpet floor.
"Sis!" I shouted in concern and quickly ran over. Her hand was already bleeding.
"What are doing here!? Go back to your room!" Mom demanded. I knew my mom will be mad at me but I don't give a f**k about it.
"Mom?" Ashane said, he just got back from his friend's house. "What happened?" He asked filled with confusion.
As I was about to tell him what really happened, mom already clung to his army. "You know ange, she's always clumsy." She lied and laugh.
"I think my bone broke," Ange said when I was helping her to stand.
Even if it was painful to stand. She pushed herself so she can lay down on her bed.
After she laid down, I called my dad but he didn't answer or replied to any of my texts and I also sent a text to his co-worker but maybe they're busy. So I sent a text to my grandparents just to see that their secretary is the one who texted me back.
I have no one to call....no one but flora!
[You need anything?] She asked when she answered the call. "Can y-you take us to the clinic?" I asked, trying not to stutter. [What!? just wait for me.] she said, already panicking.
I waited for her by the gate because I knew the guards will not let her enter because of my mom's tension.
"Let her in!" I screamed at the one guarding the entrance gate. She hurriedly exits her car and walks towards.
"Are you ok?" She asked and hold my cheeks. "It's Ange," I said. As we were about to enter the main door, Danie Blocked the door.
"I think somebody's lost?" Mom sarcastically said and laugh. "You are a freaking psycho!" Flora furiously shouted. She continued to walk. She did not care what mom would do. I just followed her since I don't want to hurt by her.
"I'll sue you for trespass!" My mom threatened her. "You think this house belongs to you?" Flora raised a brow.
"This house belongs to my husband and his children! This house is for the Castellane Family to use! You have no right to hurt them in their own f*****g home!"
My mom didn't respond. Perhaps she'll reflect on her actions? or maybe not. Nevertheless, she's still my birth mother.
"The bone fracture will heal after 4-6 weeks," The doctor said after scanning her body.
They already treated her hand but her foot was severely fractured and her mini-fracture last week hasn't healed yet.
"Do you want to stay with us?" Flora asked me.
Do I want to?
"We will also take Ange with us," she said. "What about my brother?" I curiously asked. "Your mom wouldn't let anyone take her beloved son. This would be fun! She said, trying to convince me.
I already knew that my mom's favorite is Ashane based on my observations. She never gets mad at him and when she's mad at him, she would rant to Me and Ange.
"Alexa! Ange!" I heard a shout. When the door opened I saw my dad still in his chef's uniform, he looked frustrated.
"I should have not let you both stay with that freaking psycho!" My dad said in frustration.
"We can't do anything about that. We just have to worry about how will we take Ange and Alexa home." Flora said.
The next day, we packed our clothes and moved to my dad's house.
My room is smaller this time. But I don't care, at least I can have a peaceful life.
"Where are we going for your 18th birthday?" Syrah asked.
Syrah has a long blonde hair. Her nationality is French-American. She has blue eyes. People calls her Angel because of her looks but her personality speaks a bad b***h.
"What about we go to South Korea?" Jaya suggested.
Jaya has shorter hair than syrah and the color of her hair is black. Her nationality is Filipino-French.
"That's a good idea," I said.
I have long brown hair, green eyes.
Every year on our birthdays. We always decided to go abroad and travel there. We have been doing this since We were 13.
For the past couple of days, I've been busy planning it. I was always punctual about things because I knew time is gold. My family was always busy so when they had some time to spare, I spend it wisely.
"Are you ready?" Flora asked when she entered the lounge. "Yeah" I casually said.
"It's cold in Korea," She said while fixing my scarf.
We Arrived in Seoul, South Korea
"Good evening," The tour guide said and bowed. A Ghost Rolls Royce picked us up. We then arrived at the suite.
"It's softer than my own bed!" Syrah said after she bounced herself in her bed.
After a few hours, we already fell asleep. I woke up at 3:10 am. I decided to eat breakfast or just drink some coffee since I was really not that hungry.
Even they had room service, I went outside to find a nearby cafe, I really hope that some cafes were open since it's only 3 in the morning.
I stumbled upon a cafe, it was a mermaid theme cafe.
I ordered a green tea and galbi. "Madam, please take a seat while we're preparing your food," The staff said.
I was surprised to see that the cafe was already full of college students, I think because I knew they're too old to be a high school student. Luckily there was one seat available besides the glass window, so I sat there.
I was about to take a picture of the glass view.
"Miss, Can I sit here?" A man asked holding a MacBook and a bunch of papers. I think he has something to do urgently. "Yeah sure." I gave him a small smile. I really felt awkward speaking to him.
He then set his laptop and continue what he was doing. I didn't want to bother him so I just scrolled down on my i********:.
"What's your nationality? You look foreign, no offense though." He raised a brow. "French and British," I said since I have Dual Citizenship.
He closed his laptop and leaned close to me. "My name Xyrus, how about you?" He said.
"Alexa," I said and tried to move my head away from his when another man was standing near us.
"You got yourself a wife? Eww," The man said and made a disgusted expression when he said the last line.
"The name is Jose," The man said and smirked. Based on my observations, he is a literal playboy.
"I'm Alexa-" My phone started to ring. It was Syrah! Gosh, I forgot about the trip going to Busan.
[WHERE THE f**k ARE YOU!?] Her screamed is t*****e to my ears. "Geez, I'll be on my way so stop with that attitude." I said and luckily my order was already served and paid.
"I'm very sorry, I have to go, I'll see you next time or maybe not. " I said while and fixing my body bag. Theo was about to say something but I was already walking out.
"Madam, this way," The tour guide said and pointed her hands towards the Red SUV.
"Punyeta ka! When we woke up you were already bathed and out of the suite!" Jaya said. "What's punyeta?" Sarah's brow furrowed.
"Wag mo naalamin," Jaya said and rolled her eyes. I understand what she said since I was learning different languages since I was young and Filipino was one of the languages that I liked.
"Young lady, we are in Korea to travel and enjoy the vacay! Not to do rubbish things!" She glared at me.
After a few minutes, Syrah was already listening to some loud music using her airpods.
"Who is the cute boy?" Jaya said in her teasing voice. "Keep your mouth closed," I warned her. She laughed a little bit before answering me. "Or else what?" She asks, obviously teasing me.
"Or else, I'll kick you." I rolled my eyes and elbowed her. "Ouch," She reacted.
The ride was short, maybe because there's no traffic. We arrived at Hilton Busan and tried to relax.
It was hard to relax to be honest. The girls and I were always hardworking. Well, the college we want wouldn't accept us if we're lazy.
It's was on December 26, when we booked a yacht and stargazed there. We just laid a blanket and positioned ourselves.
I was busy staring at the sky when Jaya and Syrah were already in front of me, holding a cake and two paper bags containing gifts.
I didn't even notice they were gone.
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you." They sang.
"Make a wish." Jaya encourage me after.
"I hope their wishes will come true," I whispered and looked at them.
After our graduation, I got accepted at Haven University. Syrah was pursuing tourism at Fly University. While Jaya was accepted at J.L University.
We parted ways to reach our dreams, I just wish we would reunite again.
