Everything seemed to have fallen back into the right place once again. I’m nothing but thankful, especially that Tristan is doing everything to make it up to me. I didn’t really restrict him from anything, but he distanced himself from Lorelei and let the doctors handle her treatment.
It was a huge sacrifice on his part, and I’m still surprised that he was willing to reject their bond. I don’t think I’ll easily get over my worries that deep inside, he was just doing this because of his commitment to me.
That he’d hate and regret it in the end.
But the past few days, all he did was to prove me otherwise. He was attentive to me, a lot more than usual, and everything else a loving husband any woman could ask for. I think I might be falling harder for him if that’s even possible.
