With his father gone, a sense of restlessness seized Thomas. The studied peace of the monastery turned oppressive, and so on a whim he decided to go to Bebbanburg to see Celyn. And Nona. He grimaced as the thought struck him, but he still couldn’t deny the anticipation it brought.
