She did not want to make a formal request to the pack administration, which felt excessive for a garden project, and she did not yet know enough of the pack's domestic supply system to navigate it herself. Zara, predictably, treated the commission with the same full energy she brought to everything, disappearing for two hours and returning with not just lavender seeds but a folded paper list of everything the Ironmoon territory's soil conditions would support, which she had apparently obtained from the pack's groundskeeper in a conversation that had clearly lasted considerably longer than necessary.
