Kate studied the two girls in the room with her. The princess was the oldest at seventeen. She was light skinned, tall and trim. Her honey-colored hair fell past her shoulders. Then there was Elle. It was the first time she had been alone with the vampire. Elle was fifteen and built more compact than either she or the princess, but she was not fat. Vampires didn’t get fat. Their genetics didn’t allow it. Elle had naturally dark skin, but not the chocolate skin that Kate had. Her hair was a dark auburn and her eyes were hazel.
