~Kehmos~
"Oh no. He's back with the bitches." Kaleb said as he looked towards the entrance the moment our brother's scent hit our nostrils.
I didn't even bother to look at who he had with him and continued my smoke instead while staring at the blank wall.
An interesting drama is about to break out between him and Ella and Kael was the master of chaos.
I sniffed the air. Okay, I can't get Ella's scent so she must have run out to cry after Kael had humiliated her.
"Wait, isn't she the one that ran into you this evening during dinner and got someone to record it so it could become a viral sticker? Damn. She's gorgeous."
I turned to the direction from which they were coming the moment Kaleb said those words.
She was the one indeed. Dressed in a black modest dress with her hair packed in a ponytail. She was wearing makeup and looked quite different from how I had seen her this evening. She was quite attractive though. Deep down, I knew she was more than quite attractive but it's going to take a while before I admit that to myself.
Her eyes met with mine and a look I couldn't read passed through her eyes before she looked away.
Was she scared of me? Good. I would love things to stay that way.
Girls like her irritate me. Always flocking around me and my brothers and they are always ready to do anything to get our attention.
Kael was the most friendly amongst us and that's how he usually gets himself entangled with crazy bitches like Ella and since she hasn't taught him enough lessons, he brings another.
"You can all join us at our table." Kael said as he got to our table.
There were two other she-wolves with him and that annoyed me further. He knew me well enough to not do this, yet he chose to.
He looked at me with a guilty expression as they all sat at our table.
"What's the meaning of this Kael?" I asked as my nose flared up in anger.
"Ummm... I can leave if I'm not welcomed here."
I glanced at her upon hearing her soft voice. There was something about her voice that made me want to hear her speak again. So I decided to taunt her to hear more.
"Yes, you're not. You can go back to wherever you came from."
Unfortunately, she didn't say another word back at me but stood to her feet instead and walked away towards the exit.
She was blocked at the entrance and Kael quickly got up and rushed after her after giving me a deadly stare.
I smirked and blew my smoke into the air. "And what are you remaining bitches doing here? Get lost too."
"Come on, Khemos. Be nice." Kaleb said with a look of disapproval.
"No, it's okay. We had our reservations about coming here but Kael insisted. Thank you for being so damn rude." The lady in red dress said and tapped her friend to get up as well.
Kaleb was smiling and watching her as she walked away. "I like her."
"Of course you do. I'm sorry for not giving you the chance to flirt with her."
He huffed. "You need to get over your past and fear of females."
I growled at him. "Who said I was afraid of females?"
"Me. Jacqueline. Have you forgotten or should I juggle your memory?"
"Shut up."
"No, no, no, no, no. Let me talk. Jacqueline played you. Used you to win a bet over three years ago. And you're yet to get over it. I'm sorry bro but..."
I hit my fist on the table with force and that got him shutting up his mouth. We attracted quite a few stares and I glared back at them till they all looked away.
"Don't you dare say her name again."
He rolled his eyes. "Suit yourself then."
"This party is so boring, no rather this table. When it was about to get interesting, you ruined it."
"I'm not stopping you from going to any of them. You can go to them, but please to a different table and away from my sight."
He muttered something under his breath that I didn't catch.
I watched as Kael and his group of bitches walked to another empty table and sat. I nodded my head towards their direction. "Your fun things are over there Kaleb if you want."
"You're so mean. Do they look like objects to you?"
I set my smoke down and poured myself a glass of wine. "I don't care."
"Of course you won't. You're a depressed piece of..." He stopped halfway while I glared at him, daring him to finish his sentence.

"I'm sorry about my brother." Kael said after we got to a new table.
"No, it's all good. We've always known him to be more reserved and he loves his space. If he wants that, that's fine."
Kael scratched his head. "Yeah. It was stupid for me to bring you guys to our table. But I just wanted to introduce you all. Turns out it was a bad idea." Kael said, all the while his eyes remain fixed on Sabrina. He didn't even spare me a glance when I spoke and had just been staring at quiet and novice Sabrina.
"What's your name? I don't think I've got that."
She blinked her lashes as she looked up at him. "Sorry, what did you say?" She asked, pretending like she hadn't heard the question.
"I asked for your name." Kael said again and even went ahead to smile at her.
"I'm Sabrina." She answered, trying to act all shy and sweet.
Jeez... This girl was the master of mind games and manipulation. I knew her kind very well. I'm yet to know her powers but whatever powers she wielded was doing a job in attracting Kael over to her. I'm not dumb to believe what I had overheard her say to Lily during orientation. She was feral and had only turned feral once. That was total bullshit. She was hiding something and it would only be a matter of time before I found out.
I've been in this school for two years, but she comes in for a day and gets Kael's attention, even stumbling into Khemos and creating attention for her.
Well, I loved the way he kicked her out of the table a few minutes ago even though it had affected us all. It was really dramatic and that was a good scene I would keep replaying in my head for days to come. T seemed to me like he hated her ass.
"Aurora." Lily snapped her fingers in front of my face. "Back to earth, please."
"Sorry, what?"
Kael cleared his throat. "I was bidding goodbye to you too. I'll be going back to join my brothers. Please take care of her." He leaned forward and said in a much lower tone. "I heard about the rite of passage happening tonight from a buddy. I didn't know that s**t existed because this is my first time at a Fresher's party and I can't imagine what that will look like. As her friends, do well to keep an eye on her. I'm sure you will survive, Sabrina. Be strong and you will come out less traumatized." Kael said before he left us.
I smiled sweetly at Sabrina who was now glaring at me. "You will be fine, dear. Lily and I went through it and we survived. It isn't a death sentence. Nobody has the right to take another's life in this school."
Okay, we've lost a few students but I can't disclose that to her.
"How's Kael just finding out about this? Does it mean he never went through it?" She asked.
I shrugged. "Rich privilege of course."
She shook her head. "I'm done hearing that. Now give me another reason."
"It means they didn't have anyone luring them into the party." Lily jumped in to say like she had been asked and it annoyed me.
Sabrina began laughing, but it was without humour. "Did you hear that, Aurora? That sounds like an actual reason." She poured out a drink for herself and finished everything in one go.
"That simply means you lured me here because you were lured in as well and you want me to go through a stupid initiation because you went through the same."
I resisted the urge to growl at her and kept a neutral face instead that I hoped showed I was sorry.
"This is a culture in the school. I've already shared a few tricks with you. Why don't we talk about something else to shake things off and get your mind off what's to come? Trust me when I say a large number of Fresher's in this party don't know what's going to happen to them. We have shared a lot with you and that should get you prepared."
"Aurora is right. Don't focus your mind too much on it. Let's play a game instead."
I nodded in agreement. "Yes. Truth or dare would be fun. Are you guys in?" Lily nodded while Sabrina shrugged.
Ughh... Must she have to sit on the fence?
I took a bottle of Amarone and emptied it in three glasses before placing the empty bottle on the table to serve as our spin bottle.
"Whoever is unable to say a truth or do a dare will have to take a sip from their glass. In case you don't know, this wine has a very bitter taste. So are we ready?"
They both nodded and I did the first spin.
