~Sabrina~
If there was a way I could move my chair and desk a little further away from Jake without drawing attention to myself, I would have done just that.
Memories of when he forced his hands up my thighs and reached for my panties flickered through my mind and I tried hard to shake them off but couldn't.
I had no choice but to sit because there were no empty seats. I can't tell if Jake recognises me or not, but if he did, he doesn't acknowledge me at all and went on with staring at the lecturer and listening to what he was saying like he was a serious student.
I didn't even expect him to be a fresher. He looked so damn confident last night, sitting alone and watching people at the party like someone who already knew the ropes of the Academy.
I took out my laptop, notebook and a pen from my backpack and began taking notes of Mr Louis lectures.
"I'm sure a lot of you ended up here because you discovered something special about you. A special power or ability that an average werewolf can never dare try. You just see yourself as special wolves but there's a name for you all. Some of you wolves may know that, and some won't. For all those with special powers, you are Moonborns and for those without special powers, you are just the usual feral wolf as you all already know. Now over to the different gradings of our magic systems and the rankings of those that wield them."
He went on to mention the various magical powers of Moonborns. "We have the Redmoon wolves. They are the most dangerous and highest in rankings. I will advise you all freshers to avoid the Redmoon wolves and for you freshers that are Redmoons, you must also avoid your Redmoon seniors because they have more advanced skills. After the Redmoon, we have Octave wolves, followed by Sun wolves and the last is Shadow wolves. And of course, there's the feral wolves on the side."
Damnit. They keep treating feral wolves like we are nothing but weaker vessels. And I'm more cooked because going feral isn't something I've experienced multiple times.
"For those of you that may be wondering what category you fall under, I'll be listing out the unique abilities of these wolves." Mr Louis said and used his pointer on the screen as he projected his next slide.
Something fell beside me on the floor and I turned to see it was a pen. I glanced towards Jake and he made gestures that I should help kick the pen back towards him.
The i***t clearly doesn't remember me, and that's courtesy of Aurora's makeup. It was both a good and bad thing. Isn't he even supposed to be in detention? I think the guy that gave him detention for today is Dickson. I'll make enquiries on how to get to him so this bastard beside me will learn. He even deserves more than detention.
"Please, I need you to kick the pen over." He said calmly to me.
Awww...his voice is so soft and sweet that it's hard to imagine how vile and evil he could be. The heart of some werewolves can be nothing but evil and one should never judge the outward appearance.
I smirked at him. "I'm not gesture dumb. I get what you want, but why don't you get that yourself?"
He stared at me like I'm unbelievable and just when he was about to look away, he stared at me further and his brows drew closer to each other.
"I've definitely..."
I gestured for him to shut up and listen to what Mr Louis was saying. I had missed quite a few slides and had to go ahead from where he was now.
Mr Louis rounded up his lecture and left the class.
From my guide book, a new lecturer would be coming to take us on a number of general courses we were used to that didn't have to do with our abilities.
"You're the female from the party last night, aren't you?"
I refused to turn to acknowledge his question. We both owe no one any conversation. The only thing he owed me was having to serve punishment.
"I'm sorry."
Those two words surprised me, and they forced me to turn to him. "Are you?"
He nodded slowly. His eyes were filled with guilt and it showed he was sorry indeed.
I looked away from him immediately. What if he was trying to manipulate me so I won't get to report his actions? Also, if he wasn't in the same class with me, will he be apologising?
"I know I have no right to be talking to you right now but last night...there's a lot of explanations that I can't discuss in class."
I chuckled both in awe and disbelief. "Did you just say you have explanations? Explanations on why you had the guts to touch me even with my refusals? Really?"
"Please, Sabrina. I don't want to talk here because of those with special hearing abilities who may eavesdrop and get everything twisted."
I shrugged. "I don't care. Isn't it twisted already?"
"Please, I am..."
"Shut the f**k up. Can you do that? Even though it's just for a second?
He didn't say anything to me and just when he looked like he had something to say, our lecturer walked in for our second lesson for the day.
Her lessons went on for about an hour plus till her time was up.
"I'll be wrapping the class now. We do more practicals in this Academy over theoretical lessons. Bye for now." She said and walked out.
The next thing for the day was training and I have to go to the Royal house now or risk being late for the training. I'm not sure if there's a punishment for coming late, but I don't want to take chances. I'm already dreading the training as someone that has never been trained to fight ever before.
I felt a tug on my arm when I got to the doorway. I turned with an angry frown on my face expecting whoever it was to be Jake, and boy was I right.
"Can we go somewhere private to talk?" He said the moment I turned to give him an audience.
What's wrong with this dude? "I should go somewhere private with you?"
He released my arm and took a step back. "That didn't sound wise enough, I'm sorry." He looked around like a thief about to plunder.
"I couldn't control myself last night, and it was extra difficult for me with your body type. I swear, I tried to control myself, but I couldn't. Your friends put you into a dangerous game last night. I could tell that was your first time doing such in public and you were a bit shy, but I was also selfish in letting you go. Seducing a werewolf who isn't your mate or boyfriend is not a wise thing to do. Take note of that and please, I'm sorry."
I was now fed up with his lies and manipulative words. If I could remember clearly, he told me I could trust him and could go ahead with the dare because he was safe and there was nothing for me to worry about, only for me to see the complete opposite.
"Wait, Sabrina. Is my apology accepted?" He called from behind while trying to get to me, but I kept walking forward and mixed in with the crowd till I could no longer hear his voice.
I walked into the hall of the Royal house. It was extremely large and empty of chairs aside some equipment that could pass for what will be used to train. It had the settings of a gym, but it wasn't a gym.
Some students were clustered in groups chatting while some were all alone.
I stood at a corner, alone and watched everyone. I could tell a fresher just from how they stood alone, a little fear on their face on what's to come and the rest of that. I'm pretty sure I look the same too.
A male wolf who I assumed to be the course lecturer, or trainer, whatever he is for this session walked in and the whole hall fell silent within the split of a second. One would hear a pin if it fell.
He stood in the middle of the hall and watched everyone slowly, one after the other.
I straightened up and stood with my shoulders back and my head held up as I watched other students do the same.
More students trooped in and he signalled them to go stand in a different spot.
"Hello everyone. My name is Mr Brown for those freshers who are just seeing me. I'm your trainer who's here to push you to your limits to harness your powers and in some cases, control it. Today is not..."
He stopped talking as some certain wolves walked in. I turned around to see the K brothers. Then I remembered Lily and Aurora had mentioned they were all in this house and we were lucky to have been placed here. I rolled my eyes just thinking of that because there was absolutely nothing special about that.
Mr Brown continued with what he was saying, not when I expected him to tell the brothers to stand back when they were obviously late.
No one flinched or looked bothered about it. It seemed this was the norm and I'm quite shocked at it.
