Khemos was already in the hall waiting for me when I slipped in quietly. I could only wonder what sort of punishment he would give me for coming late.
We were to meet in here by 5:30pm but I had explained I would be coming twenty minutes late because I had to finish up an assignment, and he gracefully agreed to my request with warning that I should be here at exactly 5:50pm.
Now guess who's walking in at 6:20? Me. All thanks to Aurora who had mistakenly spilled a bowl of hot water on the piece of paper I had written down as rough work for my assignments, so I had to rewrite everything.
