"I see no reason we should be stalling. Aren't you eager to see your mother?"
I sighed and pulled myself out of the bed.
We all walked into her private suite she shared with our father. The room was dimly lit but I saw her on the bed at a corner of the room.
"Mum?" I said and walked towards the edge where she laid. A few maids and she-wolves whom I assumed to be the healers busied themselves in the room, not minding our presence.
"Mother?" Kael called as we reached her bed.
She turned around and there was a look of surprise on her face as she took in the three of us. She looked weak and frail but that didn't stop a smile from lightening up her face.
"We heard what happened and came to visit you"
