I squeezed my eyes tight as bright light that I couldn't stare at blinded me from seeing further. I raised a hand to my face and rubbed, especially on my eyes as I tried to reason out what had happened to me.
After another attempt, my eyes got clearer and I was taken aback at four pairs of eyes staring down at me.
"She's awake. Thank goodness." Lily said in relief and sat on the edge of the bed where I laid.
"Damn girl, you scared the hell out of us."
I tried to sit up but Aurora forced me to stay back down as her eyes were still on me, and she was in fact staring down at me in disappointment.
"What happened?" I asked as my eyes moved between them.
"Really? You can't remember anything?" Lily asked with a look for disbelief.
