"He's waking up" I heard Devin's voice as the bright lights blinded my eyes for some moment. I blinked my eyes open and wondered where I was. My eye sight was finally clear and I saw Devin staring at me with pity all over his face. Some people in white coats were also beside me. After checking round the room I realized I was in the hospital.
I tried to stand up but a sharp pain hit my head and I winced in agony before lying back on the bed.
"You made me so scared" Devin brushed his hands through his hair then I suddenly remembered what happened to me.
I remembered how I sharply swerved away from the truck that was about to hit me before I crashed into a tree and everything went blank after the call.
"What time is it?" I asked and Devin shot me a sharp glare.
