The time is not ours

Lexanie's POV

It's been almost 40 minutes but I can't contemplate if I will unlock the lavatory and storm straight uptairs to join my friends or wait until that guy leave so I can come out in peace.

" What if he is still there? "

" What if he is really waiting for me to come out? "

" I am to apologized? "If I am to do it...what will I say?

"Maybe..

" Oh am sorry about what happen a while back..It's my fault, I should have been more careful and not too arrogant "

Or could be ..

"I'm sorry that your poor soul became a victim of my clumsiness Trent"

" Do I say his name? or..Mr. Howard? "

that might be fitting since as far as I know he is way older than me... but somehow I feel slight of shiver just by saying his name...

" Oh no! I might offend him yet again if I call him Mr. Howard.

Aargghh this is getting ridiculous and frustrating at the same time!

10 more minutes past and I hear our pilot announcing finally we have landed. I somehow felt victorious as I don't have to think of anymore lame excuse to not meet him or apologize.

I need Jess right now! Yes Jess knows exactly what to do in this kind of situation a smile plastered on my lips.

I slowly open the double lock and creep through the door.. If someone see me at this very moment for sure I will get a weird stare.. I don't know why I'm walking tip toed as if anyone can hear me..

" What on earth Lexie? "

I've met with Jess's confused face.

" Jess?? Oh my thank God you are here! " relief flash my face.

" Yeah I'm here and I boarded this plane couple of hours ago, which you promise you will join me, but dont have an idea what happened to you, so I drank that shitty vodka with some stupid guy! Yeah I think I'm that Jess!"

" And if you still doesn't feel guilty for bailing on me..

" I...I... "

" Uhm.. you what Jess? "

I can see tears and defeat in her eyes at the same time. For the past 5 years that I'am friends with her, I never seen Jessy looks so vulnerable and sad.. I feel for her.... tsk she may be really serious about what she feel towards our friend.

" I kiss Will because I can't take it!! "

" They are just all over each other and it made my eye sore and my ego hurt!! " Jess exclaimed in between sobs..

" Aw i'm sorry babe, you know I always have your back right? "

" I just met with a little "accident" thats why I wasn't able to accompany you as fast. "

" Please....." I smile as i try to reach her hand.

" And.... " you can tell me what exactly happen and how does his "girlfriend" reacts???" i tried to convince her and make the mood gossipy which always interest her.

We both laughed as if our brain synch and arrived in unison.

" Alright.. I'll tell you everthing but, let's get off this plane first " .

" I feel so suffocated and besides.... this princess is made to flaunt her ample blessings for the whole world to see "

" Yeah that's my girl!! "Let's GO!!!!

We got off the plane and just waiting for Will so we can be shown to our rooms, when one of the hotel employee called us.

We arrived half past 12 in our private resort.

I'm used to luxury but all this things, this magnificent view in front of me awed like it's the first time I ever lay my eyes on something majestic.

" Gosh this is LIFEEEEEE!!!

" I love it!! How come Will is this rich!!! I exclaimed while constinously flashing my polaroid basically anywhere I can see.

" Babe you don't have an idea, and this?... this is just one of their vacation villa"

" They don't come here often so it was renovated to be a luxury spot for the richest or rich "

" Stalker! I jokingly tease her.

" ...... But we??? We have this Island all to ourselves for FREEEEE!!!!

we both squel in excitement.

" Shall we unpacked?

" Unpacked we shall lady!! " and we both walk towards the grand entrance of the main Villa.

Not a moment later, we saw Will and some of the mansion staff.

" Jess, hey you are walking too fast, Will's over there"

" Yeah.... " she said non-chalantly

" I'll see you in a bit, I need to change, you can go see him "

" K laters..."

and we move to separate patio that devides the main house to each rooms dedicated to the VIP guest.

I feel nervous while I walk towards Will. My eyes scanning and checking each and every person coming in and out of the Mansion.. my eyes is just focus to find something....

or someone...

" Where could he be? .. i mutter.. somehow i feel a little regret that I don't see the man I've had that earlier "accident" on the plane.

" Looking for someone?.... someone whispered in my ear that almost made me jump.

" Will!!!!! Asshole! you startle me!!! "Geez!!

" Babe, he chuckled.. " you are too immensed on your own world, you didn't notice the sign! "

" See it says " UNDER CONSTRUCTION"

" Oh... I'm sorry"

" Uhmmm, Will about your cousin... Trent... right? I just wanted to apologized of what happened earlier, so I thought he is here too.."

" Oh... that's nothing Babe, don't apologized to that maniac I'm sure it's his fault anyways..

"Did he do something?? Will asked and look at me intently like how my Dad would do...

" No! what are you talking about I just want to apologized I know I've been so rude. "

" Very well.. there's a serious family issue that he needs to attend so he hurrieldly left..

" I may also need to cut our vacation short to help him, just in case... but please... you and Jessy can stay for as long as you want.. ok? "

" Are you ok Will? I dont know why it doesnt sound sincere, but I feel down all of a sudden... is it because I won't be able to see him again? ... " Goodness why does he have this effect on me? I am never this bother by a guy that I barely know!

" Yes I am Babe, I will go only if I am needed... " Besides I want to spend this time with my girls.... so maybe you both will get lucky and have an experience with me" he said laughing.

" Grossssss!!! " Boo you don't stand a chance on me.. If I don't know your womanizing ways, I may.... but I know your from head to toe Will so.. sorrryy not sorry!! "

" Maybe...Jessy??" ..

" She had a crush on you.... "

OMG before I can even say something.. Will look at me with such seriousness in his eyes...

" Come again??.... "

" Huh??? I said.. Jessy she wanted to crush you! You man w***e! hahaha..

" She's too perfect for you! Your already lucky you are friends with the Princess"

" I'll get going.. see you in a few.

I walk as fast as I can, I almost squeal our secret , geezz Jessy will be really furious and upset had she known i told him.

I didn't notice Will's face darkened and his fist clenched....
