Our Story

In what way,then?...

One fine morning,I excitedly march to the library.I texted Kuya Art that I want to show him something.We got each others number a week ago.And I've been thinking of an excuse to text him.

Kuya Art is a graduating senior high student.I am a year younger than him.He took Accountancy and Business Management.And it happened that I am on the same department with him.I have an assignment and I'm working on it for like, three days and I can't really understand the topic.So,I ask for his help.He said yes and I'm meeting him at the library.

I am vacant for a subject so I got the chance to come to thw library.The library is as usual quiet and there are only few student inside.I scanned the place and I saw him picking up book from the shelf.

I ran excitedly with a big smile on my face.

"Kuya Art!"I called him.The few student look up at me and glare.Napalakas siguro ang boses ko.I didn't realize that he's with his friends so I stop midway and my smile fell.

His friends are not really friendly but they are not bad rather.One of his friend smiled at me so I smiled back.He is the son of a councilor.He's boyish and friendly.While his other friend look at me with cold eyes.I even heard Valderama said,"I warned you already,man."

I gulped.Maybe they don't really like me.Gallego is only being considerate.

"Arthur,I did told you about these right?"the only woman in the crowd said.She then look at me with pure disgusts.

"Stop it.Mauna na kayo."Kuya Art said darkly.He smiled at me and wave.Leavjng his friends behind.

We sit on our usual spot,it is far from the crowd and it's the only table in this corner.I stared at him as he arrange his book.He's looks attractive while doing it.He looks like a geek but not a nerd one.He's oozing with s*x appeal that every girls in the campus likes him.

He's famous for his appeal and his brain.Aside from being the governor's son.Meanwhile,I am famous because of my family's scandal.It's really strange to see me with him.Everyone thinks I am flirting with him.I don't know I'm comfortable with him but I can't say I like him.Maybe I admire him a bit.

"Does your friend hate me,Kuya?"I asked.It made him stop searching his books and look at me with brows furrowed.

"Why do you ask?"he said grimly.Like he doesn't like that question.And why is that?

"Kasi nararamdaman ko.You know,Emmarie will always look at me sharply.And the others are cold."I said as a matter of fact.

"Don't mind them.They're just....like that."iniwas niya tingin sa akin at binalik sa libro.

"Pero,Kuya Tim seems nice!"agad kong bawi dahil baka maoffend siya na ganoon ang tingin ko sa mga kaibigan niya.

I smiled at him widely.Tim Gallego is really kind and friendly.He's lucky to be friends with him.I was once lucky too.

He raised his brow and look at me sharply.

"Why?Do you like Tim?"he asked coldly.

"H-huh?!"Hindi ko naman iniisip yun pero nakakahiya kung iisiping crush ko si Kuya Tim.Mabait lang talaga siya."Hindi naman.Pero ah ano..."I am lost for words nakakahiya pakiramdam ko namumula ako masyado.

I look at him only to see him watching me intently.He looks mad.Is he mad at me?Thinking that I likee Kuya Tim?

"Are you mad?Don't worrt I don't like him that way naman!"and I fake a smile.

"In what way,then?"

Huh?In what way?I can't seem to understand him.And why is he looking angry?
