EPILOGUE JuneI’d imagined the facility to look like a hospital: bland, sterile and depressing. Instead, I felt welcome the instant we stepped through the front gate. The facility was housed within a medieval castle – had there been any Middle Ages in Albya? – but while the stone walls were old and weathered, inside it was a different matter.
