Tuck stood in his bedroom staring at the bed. She wanted to know when he would have time to get together, but he really didn’t know probably not until the 16th or 17th, depending on what the attorney had to say. He just couldn’t know, not yet. Not until he got up there and had some idea what was going on with the attorney. Auto pilot took over and he gathered a pair of jeans, three clean t-shirts, rolled them up to go in his saddle bags then threw together a bedroll. The blankets, he rolled in a canvas tarp and tying it up with a length of rope that could double to hold up the tarp should he need something over his head at night.
