London finished loading her dinner dishes into the dishwasher and started it. She didn’t know how long Tuck would be on his other calls, but she wanted to have everything done so she could relax and give him all her attention. After one last wipe down of the counters, she hung up the dish cloth to dry, grabbed her phone and went in the living room. She remembered the message from Rylie she’d ignored and typed up a quick reply. There was no instant message back, as if Rylie had been waiting for her message, but then, London hadn’t expected there to be.
