Tuck watched as the coffin holding his mother’s remains slowly disappeared into the hole beneath it. His thoughts raced. Remembering snatches of time. His mother calling him in to dinner, standing at the kitchen door yelling his name. He even heard his own response. Coming Mom. Coming Mom.The memories jarred him.
