“I can’t move” Satan seems shocked as he stares at his immobilized body.
Draxx knocked down Satan and continued attacking him. Satan struggled to move but he cannot.
“You! What have you done to me!” Satan shouted desperately.
“I am going to kill you!” Draxx shouted.
“That’s what you get for disobeying me” the voice shouted.
“Who are you! Reveal yourself!” Satan shouted.
“Retreat now or suffer the consequences” the voice said.
“Okay, I’ll do as you wish” Satan said.
Seconds later Satan regained his strength. With a flap of his wing Draxx was sent flying. As Draxx became stable in midair he immediately burst straight in
“Satan!” Draxx shouted.
“We shall continue our fight next time” Satan said as if he regrets it.
A pillar of flame burst that engulfed Satan. Draxx stopped the last second and almost hit the walls of fire. As soon as the pillar collapsed Satan was nowhere to be seen. Draxx dropped to his knees, looks like using his elemental powers finally backfired on him. He lies on the ground breathing heavily.
“I never thought fighting demons would be this hard.”
“I haven’t encountered one of those before. That demon was entirely in a higher level compared to the ones we are fighting back then.”
“Satan, a demon that can talk, has an elemental power of fire, and highly skilled in combat.”
“Don’t forget about he is anti-magic, and I am just a mortal using a precious stone” Draxx’s last words before dozing off.
Several hours after Draxx and Sora’s departure the sky started turning dark even if it is high noon. It seems the dark cloud is drawing near the city coming from the east gate.
“Commanders look at this” Aaron seems horrified as he hands over the telescope.
Commander peeked as well.
“Looks like they are here.”
“Don’t worry Aaron, this city will not crumble” Commander said with full conviction.
“You there, sound the alarm and help the civilians evacuate” Commander said as he went on his way.
“Hey Aaron, are you coming?” Commander said with a huge smile on his face.
Aaron and Commander burst to the front line.
“Commander! Duke!” Dean said.
“Papa? What are you doing here and what is this evacuation drill all about?” Samantha asked.
“No time to explain Samantha just brace yourself because this will be one heck of a fight.”
“Commanders secure the perimeter” Aaron said.
“On it” Commander said as he fortifies the city walls.
“You, you are an assassin, right?”
“I want you to contact all assassins and inform their team to head to the east gate” Aaron said.
The assassin used his special communication technique and contacted all teams.
“As for all of you try to stay alive okay. I know these are your first time facing the real deal so if you can’t handle it better step back okay” Aaron warned.
“They are closing in the ground told me” Commander informed
Aaron used his sacred gear. It was a shining full body armor made of light. Commander and the rest also geared up.
“You kid better step out and leave this to us” Commander said.
The sky above the city turned black and a loud eerie roar caught everybody’s attention.
“What was that?” a questioned raised by everyone.
Then the east gate was breached
“No!” Commander shouted as if he was caught off guard.
“Look out!” Aaron shouted as he intercepted the flying Class A demon
“Commanders are you okay?” Dean said as he helps Commander stood up.
“They’re here” Commander said.
Dean casted a light barrier to slow down the rampaging demons. Samantha and the others face the front line. Aaron single handedly faced the Class A. Samantha sustained Dean’s energy to continue casting the barrier. Several minutes later backup arrived.
“Sorcerers assist Duke to strike down that demon” Commander ordered.
Maximus led the tanks to the front line and the knights followed their lead. Most of the strategist joined the fight as well. The marksmen are all set, and the healers are all on standby.
The battle was going smoothly until the next hoard arrived. Numerous Class A demons entered the city, and several front liners were severely injured.
“Everyone steps back!” Aaron shouted.
The front liners retreated. The sorcerers and mages trapped the Class A demons, but it did not last long. Commander take the front line alone. The demons started entering the city and Commander cannot longer hold of the Class A demons. The city walls slowly loss its fortification. The demons keep entering in huge volumes and the barriers that the mages built can no longer slow them down.
Samantha cannot watch any longer, so she intercepted the rampaging demons. One by one she easily struck down the lower-class demon until she reaches the Class A. She was of numbered, but Maximus and the rest of the elemental users assisted her. Not long enough the assassins and tanks joined the front line as well. The knights acted as a barricade for the back lane.
“They just keep coming and coming” Mark said.
“Yeah! It is unending” Maximus said.
Samantha went deeper in the battlefield and she reached the bordered. From there she used her elemental magic. She pierced her sword into the ground that froze a wide area.
“What’s that!” The students reacted.
“Don’t worry it is just milady’s elemental skill” Commander said.
“Commander now!” Samantha shouted.
Commander made the ground rumble that destroyed the frozen demons. The demons entering the city lessen and the Class A demons were all eradicated. Aaron and Commander burst towards Samantha to aid her. Several hours later the demons with the city are all eradicated. Sarah was totally drained from healing the mages and sorcerers.
“Better rest Sarah you fought hard” Tyrone said.
“Let’s fight alongside them!”
“Who’s with me!” Tyrone said.
Tyrone and some of the strategist rushed to the front line. The knights, mages, and sorcerers also mashed forward. The mages and sorcerers secured the east gate.
“Aaron, I can sense another hoard or two” Commander informed.
“Shall we go?” Aaron asked.
“You bet” Commander said as he gave Aaron a fist bump.
Aaron and Commander burst towards the approaching demons and intercept them. The first hoard was a bunch of Class B. Aaron and Commander blasted them using elemental magic, but it seems they did not fight back. The demons continued running towards the city and they are not slowing down. Then the next hoard arrives
