“It can’t be!” Commander was shocked as he saw the same persona that destroyed their city.
He immediately hurled numerous boulders thinking that is enough to strike her down. The lady wearing a cloak just easily split the boulders in half. She then throws her lance upward.
“Arise the beast of lightning, Raijin” She said in a demonic voice.
The lance then transformed into a huge wolf like creature that quickly ran towards the city.
“I’ll handle it Aaron just makes sure she doesn’t pass you.”
“I am counting on you” Commander said as he blesses Aaron with vitality.
Commander then burst to intercept the dreadful beast. Aaron then blasted the hoard of demons, but the lady was there to block the attack using ice magic.
“Oh, my what intense power you have” the lady said in a regular tone.
The demons rushed towards the city and Aaron cannot hold them any longer. The lady leads the assault.
“Stop!” Aaron shouted then light burst out from his armor. The demons that have been struck by the light started to burn but an ice spike protected the lady from the scorching light.
Commander and the rest of the students saw the bright light coming from the distance.
“Aaron” Commander said as thinking if Aaron is doing fine back there.
Commander keeps his cool to prevent unnecessary decisions. A quarter of the final hoard survived, and they are now heading towards the city.
“Amuse me more” the lady said as she comes out of hiding. It seems she is excited.
The lady ran towards Aaron and she was quick.
“Try to keep up with me okay” The lady whispered on Aaron’s ear.
Aaron tried attacking her, but she easily evades it.
“Oh my, you’re so brutal.”
“Trying to hit a fine maiden right in the face” The lady teases.
The lady quickly rushed forward, and strangled Aaron then hoist him up. Aaron grabs hold of the lady’s wrists by doing so the light burned her. The lady let go then stepped back.
“Well, that was surely unexpected” the lady said.
“What? Can’t handle light you demon” Aaron teased.
“Don’t get too full” the lady did not finish what she was saying because she evaded a ray of light.
“How rude of you! Didn’t you saw I am still talking”?
“The nerve of you!” the lady seems pissed.
Aaron continued firing rays of light towards the lady. The lady manages to evade them all and somehow draws closer to Aaron. She finds an opening and strike there. Aaron saw the attack as if he were waiting for that exact moment. He dodged the attack and punches the lady in the gut. She burst away then started to vomit blood.
“I commend you Sir. No one is even close in landing a hit on me” the lady praised as she wipes her mouth.
The lady then used a skill a magical barrier that zaps the life of anyone who enters. Aaron cannot see the magical barrier, so he is not totally aware of it.
“Show me what you got mortal” the lady taunted with a demonic voice.
“Opsie that just slipped out” the lady said.
“Tell me who are you?” Aaron asked in a shouting manner.
“Why do you want to know? Are you going to hit on me?”
“Sorry but you are too old for me and you barely seen my face yet” the lady teased.
“Stop your foolish nonsense” Aaron raised his voice.
“Temper temper” the lady said as she wags her finger.
“Now I know why your wife left you with your daughter” the lady said.
“You shut your mouth! You know nothing about me or my family” Aaron is furious.
With extreme speed the lady transported beside Aaron dragging the magic barrier with her. Aaron dropped on his knees and rapidly loses strength. The lady holds him in the chin.
“Aaron Leonheart IV the duke of Citadel a worthless husband and the father of Samantha Leonheart” the lady informed.
You can see the fury in Aaron’s eyes.
“That’s your daughter over there, right?”
“Let’s see if she can with stand one demon” the lady said as she summons a flying demon just like what Aaron faced earlier.
Aaron tried struggling but he is too weak. They watch the demon flew towards Samantha.
“Let’s see how your daughter fights, shall we” the lady said as she turns Aaron.
The lady’s hands were getting burned as she turns Aaron around, but it was quickly healed. The demons finally reach its destination and it immediately struck Samantha.
“Everyone clears out” Samantha shouted as she blocks the attack.
The impact was so intense that it formed a crater.
“Samantha!” Aaron shouted desperately.
“Chill Aaron the battle is just getting started.”
“She is your daughter after all” the lady said.
The students all look at the crater as they waited for the dust to clear up. Samantha’s teammates rushed in even thou the field is not fully cleared. Class B demons stopped them from their tracks. They had no choice but to fight their way through.
Samantha manages to keep up with the demon, but you can tell she was exhausted. A knight informed the others about the current scenario in the frontline. The elite assassin immediately left his station and went to Samantha as back up, several assassins also followed his lead. The assassins just keep evading the attacks and enemies until they reach the frontline.
The elite assassin burst into action, but Class B demons intercepted him then a barrage of throwing weapons cleared a path for him. He turned back to have a look and he saw his colleges.
The assassin gave a thumbs up with a huge smile in his face then he continues.
“Hi there. Need some help” the assassin said.
“I told everyone to clear out” Samantha said.
“Don’t be too stubborn this isn’t your fight alone.”
“Plus, you look pretty exhausted better head back to the city and let the healers take care of you.”
“Me and the rest of the assassin can take this from here” the assassin confidently said.
The rest of the assassin finally catch up. They surrounded the demon and started attack it alternately to confuse it.
“Looks like they are all looking for trouble” The lady said.
She then whistles. Raijin then jumped high to get across Commander and as soon as it landed it ran towards the assassins. Commander tried stopping it using gigantic stone walls, but it was too quick.
“Look out!” Commander shouted.
