“Are you done back there?” the city guard asked “Only a couple more left” one of the men said “Hurry it up, the sooner we kill those low-lying commoners the better” the guard said The kid heard it loud and clear, he even saw the men putting something on the food and water. Horrified the kid ran as fast as he could “Ma, the people here want to kill us” the kid said shaking “Stop your nonsense!” “What are you talking about!” the kid’s mother didn’t believe a word what his son was saying “They want to kill us! I heard them talking about it” “I even say them put something in the food” the kid shouted The mother slapped the kid’s face which started a commotion “What’s going on back there?” a patrolling city guard asked “Sorry sir, just discipling my son” the mother said with a smile
