Chapter 48

The entire Kingdom was screaming, fighting, howling. There was fire everywhere, there were people dying and saving. Evi saw all of that happening right in front of her eyes, both creatures very equally powerful, but she simply couldn't understand what it was that was causing so much pain to her people. Even the most well trained worriers were falling and this wasn't just surprising to her, but for once she was scared for them.

"What is happening?" Noori asked, looking around the place as she too was baffled.

"I don't know." Evi said, speaking the honest way.

"But it has something to do with those daggers. Nori stay from them and tell everyone.." Evi said to her, and Noori nodded her head. Immediately she rushed out of there, continuing to fight. But right at that moment, Evi heard a small whisper behind her and quickly alarmed now, and she turned around only to see a boys standing by the entrance of the door. And he was holding on to the knife tightly in his hand. But he was afraid, not like others.

How ever, that was not it. He had not hurt anyone up until now and she know that he did not want to hurt anyone. It was very clear by the fear that he was holding in his eyes, and there was no blood on his dagger as well. Slowly she started to make her way above the stairs, as the boy begin to back away from her.

"Stop..." She whispered, commanding him.

"I won''t hurt you, but you have to give me the dagger." She said, seeing how young he was. At the same age of the princess.

"Please don't.." He whispered softly, making her stop as well. She did not want to rush to him, but the boy was shaking.

"Tell me why everyone is here? what is in that dagger doing to them?" She said, looking down at the golden dagger that was shining in his hand.

"I.... I don't want to do this." He said.

"What is it?" Evi asked, scared o know more but she wanted to.

"The princess..." He whispered, softly and she was struck at this moment.

A heavy and large frown on her face at the moment.

"I don't want to hurt her." He said, still backing away into the castle and she started to walk closer to him, Evi was sympathizing with him, hoping that he would settle down.

"I can understand, but you have to give me that dagger." Evi said, calmly.

"They forced us all, telling us that she was wrong to betray us.." He said, trying to explain to to her.

But she was not understanding him, not even a little bit. How ever, quickly she walked towards the boy,, scaring the boy as she grabbed the dagger from him, holding it tight. And at that moment, she was only feeling the heat of the daggger, confusing her as to what this could be.

"You have to stop them.." He said, for once not fearing the queen but thinking she could help them.

"What do you mean?" Evi asked.

"They are going after the princess. They are here to kill her and everyone has a dagger." He said, and right then Evi's eyes went wide.

"Who ever can reach to her first, they have to stab this in her heart, kill her." He said, and Evi was taken a back, knowing she wasn't going to let anyone hurt the Princess, Anya was her responsibility. The kingdoms responsibility as well.

"I can't let that happen.." Evi whispered to herself, frightened that she might get hurt.

"YOY ARE BETRAYING YOUR OWN PEOPLE.... YOU BASTARD..." A man screams from behind her and quickly Evi was forced to turn around, only to see a very large vampire rushing into the castle, and with the dagger pointed towards her. Immediately, he rushed in, screaming as anger was running out like sweat through him. She was surprised, but very much ready as well.

as he rushed to her, she grabbed his hand and threw him across the room with all her force that she had..

"AAAAHHHHHH...." The man growns in pain, as his back landed on the fire place in a loud thud. And he fell to the ground, but this was not done for him. Quickly he moved his body up, staring at the queen and then at the man behind her. And without wasting a second he again rushed towards both of them, but this time his dagger was pointed towards the boy. Evi knew what was coming for him, but immediately she blocked her body in front of him and the dagger now pointed towards her stomach. He rushed in for the attack and attacked.

Everything got quiet there. The boy's eyes went wide, he was afraid for the queen.

"Huuhhhhh........." However, there was only the sound of a loud gasping that came.

"Nooo..." The boy whispered, realising that she was stabbed. He moved back from the queen and so did the man and Evi. He looked down, waiting to see blood pouring out of her, for her to start screaming in burning pain, but she wasn't even hurt. There was no cut her body. She was holding on to his wrist and the other one, she had stabbed him with the dagger, stabbing him into his stomach. The cursed dagger then started to get hotter and hotter and now she backed away, seeing what was going.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH..... NO........" The man started to scream in agonising pain, the veins in his body started to bulge up and out in sight. She was struck as to what she was looking at, but he landed on his knees screaming louder and louder.

"What is happening?" She asked, only being able to watch.

"The magic and the potion is going to his heart, melting it. He is in pain now." He explained and she was stunned.

"My chief wanted the princess to feel that painful." He let out, and that was when Evi realised that the princess was all alone. She was awake by the reality of it. And without wasting a second there, Evi turned around, running up the stairs as the painful screams of the man continued going around and landing on every wall, as it boun ced off of them. However, she did not stop making her way towards the third floor, wanting to protect the most valuable thing in the kingdom at the moment, the vampire princess.

As Evi was running to the corridor, and towards her wing, the heavy foot steps of the queen where echoing every where. And she did not care who could heard her, but she was simply wanted to see the Princess and safe the moment.

Evi got up instantly, and saw the room doors that were wide open and this scared her. Immediately she ran towards the bedroom and only to see another vampire girl sitting over Anya's stomach as she had dragged the daggar up. She was ready to slam it down on to her chest, ready to kill her.

The blonde hair of the vampire was falling over her face, but she could sense the anger that she held. Although Evi could not let anyone hurt the Princess, and so she ran towards the girl and now alarming her. Making her turn towards her and before she could even see the queen coming any closer to her. Evi slammed her body on her, as both the girls fell to the corner of the room, slamming their heads and body on the wall. Which turned out very painful..

"Fuckkk..."Evi muttered.

"What the f***?" The girls said, as the darker was no longer in her hand. But the body slam was painful. How ever, the queen on the other hand, she got up quickly. Fixing herself and so did the vampire girl.

"You are no Queen to me. You don't scare me.." She said, immediately slamming her hand close to Evi's face, but she blocked it, holding her hand tight and twisted it, pushing the girl's body away from her. The girl forcefully went forward and towards a glass cabinet. Hurting herself even more as the glass and wood started to shutter all around her. She was in pain, but recovered quickly, screaming out in anger. She turned around and right there and then Evi grabbed her by the throat.

"Le...t me... goooo.. you bitc...h." She was in pain, but Evi was holding her tight. The girl was suffering and was trying to get herself out of the grip. But it was difficult. And her eyes had started to go red, but she wasn't quitting any time soon now.

How ever, instantly another man walked in and with the same dagger. He watched what was going on and took the opportunity here, as he saw thee princess without security and the queen was occupied.

"Kill her now..." The vampire girl said to him, and he started to run towards the princess. But Evi was not going to let that happen. She threw the vampire girl on him, as painful as it was they both landed on the ground, getting hurt even more so. The growing was very loudly heard.

"F****** kill her.." The girl said to the man, and immediatelythe man grabbed the princess, picking her up from the bed and forcefully holding her. Forcing her to sit down while she was still unconscious. But the dagger was still pointed towards her neck.

"Don't get any closer.." He said, slowly pushing the daggar to Anys's skin, as the flesh started to burn and black smoke coming from her neck. Evi panicked.

"STOP.... stop." She screams.

"Then don't get any closer.." He said. It was then that Anna saw a smile he was holding on his face. He was happy to have such power over the Queen, like he had won. The vampire girl then grabbed on to the queen from behind, keeping the daggar on her neck as well. Slowly pushing it closer.

"Now you have to watch, while we kill her slowly and she screams in pain...." She whispered into Evi's ears, and the Queen was disgusted. Although, the man stopped for a second, while he stared at her confused.

"I don't understand why you are trying to protect a vampire? But that doesn't seem like a problem right now, does it.." He said, ready to stab at her chest.

"WHY.......?" Anna screams, louder than ever and stopping him.

"Why are you doing this?" She tried to distract them, as she heard small foot steps coming towards her and she knew it wouldn't take them long to hear as well. But she wanted to build some time.

"Because, she deserves it. Every bit of it." He said, there was no way that Evi could understand his words that came out. But of course the emotions were very much real in his voice. But she wasn't saying anything in particular, Evi was only trying to buy the guard some time there. The vampire girl was alarmed too as she turned to look at the doors behind them.

"There is another wolf here.." The vampire girls said, when suddenly one of the guards came in, and he was rushing towards the man. The worrier ran right past the queen, and instantly he launched his body on top of the man, forcing the entire bed and al three of them to fall back and slam into the glass window behind. Suddenly there was this loud shuttering of glass every where, and that is when Evi noticed how unfortunately, all three of them where nw out of the room and on to the roof outside.

"NO..." She said, and Evi then took this moment to grab the girls hand, and slam her head behind.

"AAAHHH...FUCK..." She screams, her nose broken as she fell to the ground. She looked out the window only to see that the man and her guard were struggling to fight off each other. But the princess was out and still sleep. Evi had to get her back inside. Slowly and slowly Anya was rolling over into the edge.

"Where the f*** do you think you are going?" The girl said to Evi, grabbing on to the Queen by her leg.

"Ahhh..." Evi yells, as she fell to the ground, on her face first. It was painful how she landed but at this moment, she had enough of all this. Quickly Evi turned around, facing the girl and now thee Queen was pissed, her eyas going black at the moment. She just wanted this to end.

Evi saw the girl coming towards her, but right then she noticed the same dagger that fell to the ground and immediately Evi pickedit up yet again, slamming the vampire itself. And letting her have the pain she was here to give.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.........." How ever, this came as a shock to the lady, so much so that the burn she was getting inside was killing her slowly. Evi took this opportunity and pushed her body up, her hands still shaking but she got up and made her way towards the window. Evelet then started walking out, carefully this time as she held onto the broken windows edge and pushed herself out of there. But only to see how the guard has puhed the man off the roof. She heard the man crashing on to some thing.

Evi saw how there were glass pieces every where and the unconscious princess on the very edge of the roof. Immediate, but very slowly Evi walked towards her, making sure Anya did not fall off. But her body was sliding down.

"No no no...." Evi whispered to herself, as her eyes went wide open. The princess's body was giving away to gravity.

"Oh my god.... NOOOO.." She screams, now running up to Anya as fast as she could, but this made it worst, and immediately Anya fell from the roof.

However, right then the queen rushed to her, and she was not going to let that happen. Evi jumped and landing on her chest, grabbing on to the princess tight...

"Ahhhhhhh...." Evi was screaming in pain as her hand started to stretch and large cuts forming all over her legs, stomach and hands, even her chest. Evi whined in pain but just couldn't let go off the princess. This extreme painful situation was noticed by Nori.

"Let her go Evi..... I got her." Nori said from below. And with her, stood two more guards, wanting to help. Even though she did not want to, Evi knew that the princess would not be hurt in anyway, and so she let go of her almost immediately. Watching as the princess fall, with no scratches. One of the guards got her and there Evi found peace in her.

"Take her away from here. Keep her safe." The Queen commanded and Nori nodded her head protecting the princess.

"SHE IS OUTSIDE.. GET TO HER...." A man screams, alarming every vampire there. Although, they sensed her scent. When suddenly a large bunch of vampires started run and a larger and enormous amount of werewolf warriors had already stood guard to protect the princess.

It started to get really bloody there, and the screams of both rivals were loud, threatening. It was all too much. The Queen saw what was happening, saw how her own people were getting hurt and mostly because of the daggar. She knew that she had to end this now. This could not go on, she would start losing her people. Because Evi had a clear view of her people crying in horrid pain.

She was losing all of her sense and angry that her people were going through so much pain. But that was not it, She was raging as her body started to heat up and immediately Evi jumped down from the third floor. Landing on her hand and legs, watching as the vampires were stabbing her warriors, almost trying to defeat them. But they were not backing away either.

'WATCH OUTT...."Nori screams at the guards standing next her. And one of the guards were stabbed as the dagger came flying at them. They did not have the chance to run away, he was stabbed in the heart, making him collapse almost immediately. It was a blood path over there.

Nori then ran towards the barrier that was created to block away the vampires, but it was doing no good. The princess, on the other hand, she lay on the ground and now unconscious. With no one to protect her. Everything was very visible to Evi, all because of the light from the moon. This was the brightest night she had ever seen, the moon was closest to them.

She had foot steps from behind her and quickly Evi turned around, but before she could see anything or anyone, Evi felt a kick in her stomach that, forced her to land on her back. Evi's body made a giant role but she found control and sat up, feeling pain in her chest too. Pissed off now, Evi looked up to see a man and a woman rushing towards her and the princess who was on the ground.

Immediately, A worrier jumps at the girl, taking her away from there and now both fighting it off, while the man watched the queen. "She is going to die, and there is nothing you can do about it." He spits at her, and Evi relaxes her body.

"I am not going to let you hurt her." She whispered.

"AHHHHHHHH..." He started to scream in pure rage, now rushing up to the Queen and quickly she crabbed his hand, but with all his strength he grabbed her by the neck and threw her away and opposite to where Anya was. Immediately, her body slammed on to a large wall, falling down to the ground. Everything in her body was hurting, but still her skin was burning up, something that has happened before.

However, in front of her, she saw have the man was ready to hurt the Princess. But before he could stab Anya, Evi grabbed him by the neck and pulled him away. Both of them rolling on the ground, he was disturbed and he did not like this one bit. He turned around, holding the queen down on the ground. She could very clearly see the pure hate that he had in his eyes for his own kind, and the Queen.

His eyes red, and black veins popping out in the corner. It was a horrid sight. How ever, the Queen was fighting back hard. He was extremely strong but she was very powerful as well. Although that wasn't enough. He punched her right on her chest giving her the shock that she did not see coming. Her eyes started to water, as her breath was getting heavy on her. And right he slashed the Queen from her neck and directly to the palm of her hands. With the same Dagger.

Creating a large line, so deep and so painful.

"AAAHHHHHHHHH..." she screams. Blood had started to rush out of her body.

"If you want to die so bad, then I will kill you first and that b**** later. I don't f****** care about who you are. A Queen dies from my hands tonight." He chuckled to himself, while Evi stared at him, wanting to tare him into pieces. However, her cold blood was pouring out of her, shining under the moon. Evi was feeling something, something very heavy.
