A way out!

Valleta POV

"Darling, if you don't come out now you'll regret being born in the first place. Now now you don't want to get a punishment also?"

I try to suppress a sob as tears stream down my face. I can hear his footsteps getting closer and closer. I pray silently that he don't find me but deep down i know he will.

Suddenly cold fingers wrap around my feet and pull me out of my cover making me scream.

"Valetta Darling, do you know how much i search for you?" he grips my jaw with force that i know later on will form a bruise. I don't want to show him I'm in pain because he will keep on hurting me. He likes to see me suffering.

"p-please d-don't", i manange to say but he let out a sinister laugh and comes closer to me. My heart start beating faster out of fear.

"Then you should have think about the consequences Darling", he leans more closer, i squeeze my eyes shut somehow hoping he disappears from here. Just then his phone started to ring. He lets put an annoyed sound before leaving.

I was so thankful to whoever was calling. I am making my way to my bed before i see something shining. I get a closer look and see it is the keys. The Keys!

without wasting time, i bend down and take them. Hiding them in my pocket. Today i will get out of this hell. I don't know till when i will be able to hold this up.

He reappears after a few minutes, a sinister smile on his face.

"Darling unfortunately i have to leave but don't worry we will continue it later. And i swear i won't leave you hanging." i cringe inwardly and fear start to fill in me.

As soon as he leave i wait for about 20 minutes before getting to work. I just need to escape from here. I don't know where will i go but I'm sure i won't stay here. I rather die than stay here.

Almost trying all the keys, finally the door to my room unlock. After all these years I'm able to set feet outside this room more like a cellar to me. I don't know when tears started to fall of my face. I wipe them down because now is not the time to weep.

I go around, look here and there and see a door that look maybe like the main door. I start running towards it and waste no time in finding the key. I put the key and twist it when it clicks a smile reach my face. There's only one word in my head, freedom.

I open it only to be greeted with sunlight. Damn! I shut my eyes quickly. It been long since I'm out. And it feels so good. I run towards the gate and climb it quickly.

When my feet touch the other side , i feel like i am free. I don't know where i am going but i know i have to go far away from that hell. Finally I'm going to be happy! Tears fall out of my eyes as a smile finds its way to my face.
