“Evan!” I showed his name as I moved away from Josh. “Evan, get a grip, Evan!” I continued to yell right after I arrived right by his side, bumping into Denver’s arm. I could not bear to hold him, I felt that he would have completely passed out if I touched him any longer. I imagined that the current pain that he is feeling physically and emotionally will soon dry him out.
“Step aside, Rain.” Denver ordered me around but I did not follow him. “Didn’t you want to do this to him? Were you not thinking of hurting him just like how he did to you even though it was not direct? Was it not distressing to see him once again on this kind of day?” He questioned me all of a sudden and those were not the type of questions that I was expecting to hear from him.
