Keirian's P.O.V.******************
Back at Headquarters (aka my house)
As we entered the front gates everyone, wolves and human gang members coward in fear because I was pissed and they knew it.wether I had my wolf or not, I could hurt any of them easily but it seemed like they could sense the danger as my power grew.
I can't believe that I got my wolf and met my mate all in one day, and it was only morning, I thought to myself.
' I hope that she doesn't back out of coming for our agreement.' I say to my wolf.
'I have a feeling she will but we may have to be patient with her." he responded.
'Ughhhh! Are you freaking kidding me?!?! I just let her go! Thats as patient as I can be! " I say back frustrated already.
"Uhm hey dude? You good? Your quiet and you've been quiet since we left that place. Also, what was going on with you back there with that girl?" Drake asked, breaking me from my internal groaning.
"Uhm yeah dude, sorry bout that. Its nothing new, I'm always quiet and all but more so now because I'm kinda...well... actually.. I...uh..hmm.. how to say this! ~I uh I just met my wolf, and that thing with the girl back there, well as soon as I met her my wolf came out and I found out that that girl, 'Shaylazia,' is me...well my mate." I responded to Drake.
Drake just stared at me dumbfounded, shocked, confused and over all... well I couldn't tell. I was nervous, waiting for his response.
Then he shook his head, looking away from me and responded.
"That's good! Right? I mean damn you get the whole shabang at once. I mean... I- uhhh- I know that it all kind of happened late but at least you met your mate so soon. Since some of us seem to have to wait a while until we meet our mate or even their whole lives."'
I looked at him relived. Although he seemed as though he wasn't all that happy. Probably because I got my wolf and met my mate at the same time, and so quickly. He must want to find his mate, longing for her to pop up in front of him.
I replied, "Yeah Man. Thanks for bringing the positive and all. It's just, it's a lot to process. I just hope that she follows through with our agreement. I just everything came so fast and I don't really know what to do right now."
Drake looked at me. He opened his mouth, then closed it back up. Looking like he was contemplating something. Then he spoke up, "Well man I don't know what to say and I don't really know how I can help you with that but what I do know is that I can be there with you for your shift and help you out with that. But if that's not happening as fast as everything else, there's some other business that we can tend to."
I looked at him, I asked hime for some time, maybe about an hour or two, alone, to process what is going on through my head first. After that I told him that he can handle the few meetings I had and that I could handle the rest later on.
DRAKE'S P.O.V.**********************
I walked out of his room after he told me that he needed some time and told me what he needed me to do while he took that time to process things.
Before I went to do any business, I walked into my room, notified all our men, that I would be meeting with them in about 20 minutes to check on their training, then attend a couple of meetings because boss needs some time to take care of a few things. After that I took out my phone, connected my headphones, sat on my bed and thought to myself with my wolf, entering my internal conversation with myself from time to time.
'Who was that girl and that boy back there? I mean, I know their names and they looked pretty young but who are they to just interrupt and just mumbo jumbo up our lives. We just got it good with our gang and they trust us and we finally know that most if not all our members are loyal and have complete faith in us, even if we're younger than most of them.' were a few thoughts about our eventful morning.
My wolf just stayed quiet most of the time, up until he said with grief and a bit of hope, 'Well, I am part you so I feel what you do and I do not know the answers to all your crazy thoughts and conversations but, I have a faint feeling that our mate is close. I felt our mate, a slight pull, this morning, but I can't be positive about who it is. I know that you have feelings for your best friend, heck he's my best friend too. But, he has found his mate, I know you hoped it would be us, but we've prepared for this and we know that our mate is out there somewhere, and close by, by the looks of it.'
'I guess you're right, Draca' I responded to my wolf.
(By the way, Draca is the original form from where Drake was derived from. It means Dragon. 'Yes I know, "Why would you name a Wolf, Dragon?" Well I guess I like it so yeah.. :p)
After the contemplating of things in my head, I decided to be happy for my best friend and to just help him while trying to find my mate; not sure how I am going to do that yet but I will. I decided to not let things get to me. I prayed to god about this, as that always seems to ease my mind. I know, I know, Aren't wolves related to the moon goddess and isn't she the one who you see as your god? Welp, I don't know, I mean I believe in the Bible more and that is just how I was brought up. So my god is God, and his son Jesus.
Now with a clear head without the confusion in my mind, I am now going to check up on the training that should be happening and maybe even train to let out the physical tension in my body. Then attend those boring meetings.
**********TWO HOURS LATER**********
DRAKE'S P.O.V.
Sometime during the last 20 minutes of the 3rd meeting I was in, my phone buzzed, and a message from Keir popped up.
"I think I've been able to sort a few things out. I need you to sit in on a few more meetings while I go out for a few hours or you can just reschedule them for another day. Don;t worry I will be back in time for tonights exchange, but I can't do meetings today. Thanks Dra "(pronounced-Dray)
I sighed and decided to cancel the rest of the meetings and to go for a run, then train with a couple of the guys, before tonights exchange.
So I texted Keir back, saying, "Yeah no problem, I'm just gonna cancel the rest of the meetings because their way too boring at the moment. It's not like anything can be finalized anyways, since you're not here. Meet you tonight for the exchange. -Dra"
