Waiting on Fred as usual to pick me up to school.We are seen literally everywhere together, not a day goes by without seeing us jointly. The duo some call us, Fred lives 20 houses away from mine, trust me as handsome and attractive as he is I’m the only female friend he has got . “Pain in the arse “ I call him , he’s vexatious but the best friend anyone would want to have.

***Beep Beep Beeeeeep*

Speaking of the devil..what’s all that honking for ? Can’t you see me out already??????

No , I see you trying to come out he replies. Annoying slapping his head whiles I sit .

We found our way to class, few seconds after which the lecturer stepped in. Good morning we all chorused. After an extensive lecture which lasted for 3 hours he called it a day . Luckily for me we had just 3 courses this semester which leaves me two days free plus weekends to hangout and “chillax” .

I love exploring, it molds the pieces of me into a visage , a better classroom for learning I must say . Fred and I often travel during summer vacations, our favorite time in the year. He’s from a well to do family and lacks absolutely nothing ,and I on the other side is from a moderate one . Our bond is inseparable one might mistake us for siblings but we just bosom buddies.

Getting to the cafeteria i pump into my crush who says sorry and leaves , he doesn’t even look at me . How ridiculous, he had been my crush since first year , I saw him during orientation and immediately started hitting on him. But he doesn’t know I exist , it’s not like I’m bad looking after all.

I remember thinking of how to get him to notice me ,i was on a mission-failed mission in view of the fact that he doesn’t even see me . I recall how Fred laughed at me after all these efforts didn’t work .

Disregarding him we head to his car home , still teasing until I narrate to him how a random guy from i********: proposed marriage right after accepting his message request .

That’s weird isn’t it? Yes but you just said random so pay no attention to it. Okay but I like his profile, raising his eyes to me .

Fred : And where’s that heading?

Me :Nowhere that’s just a maxim..

Fred: uhuh maxiiim!! we’ll know if it’s just a maxim or not .

That’s how maddening, Fred can be , so long getting out of the car,

Entering home with no plans for my weekend I greet mum and dad.

Welcome love , how are you holding up ?

I’m trying please, you ought to next year is a stone throw . You can’t bring any class here , okay swiftly circumventing to my room. These two will chatter for hours if I’m to stay harkening .

**Sigh** that was close dragging myself to bed .

As it turns out , I will just be home most likely sleep my weekend away and occupy myself with Tyler Perry’s sistas .
